What a hidden gem! We only stayed for one night but all in all we loved this place. Nestled in the woods just a short drive from the main road you find yourself surrounded by nature and small river(water was clear and chilly perfect for a hot day) running pass the forest. Great hospitality and room was clean and even better than the picture. Just a 5-10 minutes walk there’s also a really cool water pass where many children goes to play.

The whole place is beautifully designed with nature. Spacious and clean rooms. There is a restaurant. The food is delicious and the coffee tastes amazing. They roast it themsleves.

Beautifully furnished spacious bungalows in green surroundings, on a river. Very friendly and caring host. Would have liked to stay a night but there is little else to do. At least, that was our impression. We were the only guests, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Lots of mosquitoes. And a hefty price.

The Kung Nok Tha Resort - a TOP addressI highly recommend the resort!! We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled:The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling.The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine.Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle.The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine.If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there.We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.

The weather is cool and comfortable, next to a waterfall, suitable for relaxing, quiet, not chaotic. If you want to stay overnight, there is a room for rent with breakfast included. Or, if you come in the morning and in the evening, you can come back to have coffee, steak, or take your kids to play in the water. The staff Kind and friendly.
