I came here mostly for breakfast (and occasionally late night supper). The masala chai tea fills the heart with warmth. I’ve been craving for curry similar to that from Singapore and Malaysia that’s not sweet like traditional Thai (Massaman). By night they’d set up their stands along walking street, you may choose to take away or eat at their restaurant, as you wish.

Koh Lipe is a very small island, you can easily get around on foot, but not with suitcases because the roads are dirt or in any case not very accessible with suitcases and trolleys. There are some nice taxis available.The accommodations are very nice, with all the essentials, bedroom with mosquito net curtain, private bathroom in the accommodation with a sky view, all immersed in the forest, only the sounds of nature can be heard. They clean the rooms every morning, changing sheets and towels and also provide soap, shampoo and fresh water. Please note that hot water is not provided but with the temperatures there it is not necessary. The property is family run and they are very sweet and helpful people. The only hitch could be the wifi which doesn't work very well, which in theory should also be available in the room, but they warned us right away that we might encounter some problems. Definitely a great experience!

The most delicious coffee on the island (I’ve tried many places), they serve delicious sandwiches made from fresh bread. A very cozy cafe, in silence, surrounded by forests and birds singing. Because of the trees there is shade and coolness around. I recommend visiting this cafe!

Lovely hideaway, 5 mins walk from the spectacular sunset beach. Warm welcome from friendly husband and wife hosts, helping you with any questions you have about your stay. Bungalows on stilts are comfortable, light and airy, with simple en-suite, and ample deck area. Very effective mosquito net for bed! Away from walking street - grab a motorbike taxi when you arrive - but a short walk to Andaman and Sunrise beaches. Would very much recommend, will be back next year!

Wow. Amazing and cozy place in the jungle. Local style . Very friendly staff. Close to sunset beach. But in Koh Lipe actually anything is close

Best Coffee in town. More like a take away place then a restaurant that you would spend a lot of time at. Very nice owner.

Best coffee in town. Owner is a very nice gentleman, and he told us when he purchased a coffee machine about 12 years ago,he had no clue how to make coffee. Then he asked Italian tourists if they can teach him the art of brew and one of them who called himself 'batista' did so. Since that time, he is following their recipe diligently and carefully ( he will put time,love and effort in each cup) and had himself become an accomplished coffee maker. Don't be scared by humble setting, well worth for coffee and sandwich stop on the way to or from Sunset Beach.

KaFair Hut is a wonderful place, with small rooms nestled in the jungle of Kho Lipe. Clean and equipped rooms. Run by a very kind and nice gentleman and his family, all very helpful and smiling. Delicious breakfasts with homemade ingredients made by the manager's wife, with honest prices. ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE MISSED!
