What a pleasure to come back here!We stayed there for two nights, February 19 and 20, 2024 in room 304, the same as in 2018. The staff are as charming as ever. A lady who was there six years ago is still there. Our room is still spotless. Housekeeping is done daily and the delicious breakfast is always included and served from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. We love this hotel!Transport packages for Langkawi are offered there. The fare is still 590 baht. We add photos recommending this hotel to you.Reviewed February 21, 2024 in Trang, Thailand__________________________We have stayed there three winning times!We discovered this gem of a hotel by chance when a charming Muslim man suggested it to us while he was in the same minibus as us. He arrived at the Mosque next door and kindly suggested that we go visit it. He spoke French, English and also Thai of course and helped us communicate more easily with the reception staff. We fell in love with this hotel which we adopted immediately since we returned there twice subsequently, upon returning from Ko Taratuo and Langkawi. Our first two nights were March 26 and 27, 2018. We returned after returning from Taratuo, 5 days later, and one last night upon returning from Langkawi, 4 days later. We have chosen room 304 each time we have stayed and highly recommend it. It was modern and superbly equipped with a fridge and instant coffee facilities. The wifi was excellent. We paid the excellent rate of 590 baht with breakfast included which was more than adequate and served in an airy, well-lit dining room with views outside. A nice, smiling lady brought us two eggs each each time and we were also able to make ourselves unlimited roasts and help ourselves to portions of tasty hearty chicken soup which had a texture very similar to the grits we know in America. We could also drink instant coffee as much as we wanted. The staff have always been very friendly to us and even took the trouble each time to telephone the minibus center so that we could pick them up directly in front of the hotel to the destinations for our Taratuo and Langkawi ferries and finally for Trang during our last stay. We felt at home there and we had a pang of sadness when we left on the last day. The immigration office is located a stone's throw behind and there are restaurants within walking distance. We recommend the Go-Ho Kitchen for sustenance, which is about a 10-minute walk away, turning right when leaving the hotel on the same street. We took several photos hoping they will convince you to stay there. The staff speak enough English for basic communication and are very helpful especially the young girl who worked there during the day and who helped us the most with transportation.
