Have done 15+ dives over 2 years & they're consistently great. Very friendly staff, great dive briefings, small groups. Beautiful visibility & excellent variety of dive sites. Alex, Aip, Arm, Jackie & everyone else are so helpful & knowledgeable. The only dive operation we use on Koh Lipe. Delicious eats during your surface intervals. Can't comment on the rooms as we haven't stayed there.

My first scuba diving experience here was amazing. I took the Discovery Dive course, which included two dives. My instructor, Mr. Aip, was very professional. This school is managed by Thai locals, and their packages are affordably priced. I highly recommend it!

It was hard to contact them for booking. Eventually, they replied on email and proceeded to do booking for 2 days fund dives (2 dives per day).They offer the cheapest refresher for 500baht. Only realised the refresher is not really adequate. We were in a group of 3 (1 Advanced + 2 Open Water). They conducted the refresher session during the 1st dive- which was a bummer because I did not sign up for the refresher session but had to also follow my friends on their refresher session. Hence my first dive was kind of wasted- did not go to a nice dive spot. Very disappointing :( felt tht was a waste.The PIC also brought a mismatch pair of fins on the boat (diff sizes). My friend had to wear one fin with rubber band to hold it together, so you shd chck all of your equipments before the boat depart.Briefings were not done properly as well, which i find very worrying. Esp in terms of the SOP during emergencies and all.Location wise, we took the tuktuk since we stay on the sunset beach. the DC is on sunrise beach, which is very lively.Equipments seem well maintained. Boats look safe. Hygiene and cleanliness of the centre is okay also. no bad reviews.Price wise, standard rate offered but Satun price includes the marine fee. Other DC usually exclude the fee, so we need to add on the 200baht on top of fee, payment can be made in cash and card (3% charge). (still need to pay park fee upon arrival on the island)Food provided is halal, which is rare and convenient for us.Other than that, people are friendly and nice. No attitude given. Just the above comments.

I can't say anything about the hotel, but the diving school definitely deserves 5 stars. Very professional and great value for money. From the equipment to the food on board, everything was perfect. Kind regards to the diving instructors Joy and Alex. Gladly again!

Feel nature.This is a place where you can feel the camping feeling in a bungalow.You have to wear a mosquito net and use a fan to survive, so it's a bit of a problem if you get hot.I like thisMy young daughter and wife are having a hard time adjusting.Byakyui’s trick, Gammy’s catch gameI really liked it...

We didnt stay in the resort but did our Open Water Diver license there. The prices were good and the atmosphere was really friendly and familiar. Our instructor was Aip and he was a very competent, friendly, patient and good teacher. All sixes dives were done in the sea (gladly not in a swimming pool :)) and the diving sites were amazing :)

I didn’t stay here but dropping by to give five stars to the dive shop. I am AOW certified and I went diving in Koh Lipe at the end of January. Satun Dive Resort has a small dive shop run by local Thai divers. They have both speedboats and long tail boats which are usually docked right in front of the shop. Some of the divers are not 100% fluent English but who cares, because underwater it’s all universal sign language. Their English is good enough for preparation, planning and safety protocols etc. The divers were very knowledgeable about the local sites, the weather condition etc. and took care of everything from preparing our equipment, food and water, to loading them on and off the boat. The dive sites were fantastic too - saw rare species like sea horse, pikachu, different kinds of nudis, sting ray, boxer shrimps and much more. Overall had a great experience. I would return to this dive shop without a second thought the next time I visit Koh Lipe.

My wife and I loved diving with Satun. As a smaller company they were a lot more personal and attentive. Our dive masters, Alex and Joy, were both exceptional from dive prep on land and great at pointing marine life out underwater. Sin was very easy to work with making bookings for dives and the rest of the crew were accommodating to individual diets for lunches. The speedboat made dive sites easily accessible while the size made sure there was not a chaotic rush of many divers getting ready. Highly recommend Satun for your diving needs in and around Koh Lipe 🩵🥽

The bungalows blend nicely into nature, are simple but have everything you need (hangers, hot shower, mirror, sink, bed, mosquito net, cozy terrace). They could have made the huts slightly taller as we kept hitting our heads on the edge of the roof. :) The place is at a very nice beach (snorkeling is a bit dangerous due to boats passing by + not a lot of corals) and the walking street is a two minute walk away. The staff and cat were very friendly to us.

The location was ideal. On the beach and right next to great restaurants and a stroll to walking street. The staff there were so friendly and helpful with everything we needed including taxis, boats, kayaks, information etc... for a laid back experience that is not too costly, this place is perfect.

Took our padi open water certificate here and it was an absolute joy! Our instructor, Alex, was patient, calm and passionate about diving! If you're thinking about diving in Koh Lipe this is the place to go to learn and experience great diving!

Basic rustic hut off the main hussle. Quiet and calm place to relax. Do not bring any food related (unprotected) into the hut as there's chances will be eaten by mouse. You can hear the Running footstep of those creature at night which is doesn't bother us. Accept for when the mouse eat some of our pastry. But overall was good and we enjoy it.Internet was not so strong in the room but good enough at the reception.

We cannot thank P Arm, N Spy and the team for making our first diving experience an incredible one. We felt confident, safe and at ease while diving. We progressed at the perfect pace - we never felt rushed. The team have excellent English so were easily able to articulate the skills we were learning. Overall great guys and we look forward to diving with them again soon. Khob khun krub!👌🙏

I love this place so much. They have their own beach. Our bangulow basically is a hut. So dont expect they have perfect amnities. At noon, the room not so hot but during night, it is quite cold. The toilet a bit scary since it doesnt have roof. Got many millipede during night in the toilet. They do have activities like snorkelling, kayak and diving of course. The location okay. All walking distance. Might need to walk about 5 - 10 minutes to the walking street and 15 - 20 minutes to the sunset beach. Overall i really love this place and definitely will stay here again.
