I decided to go to koh mak because I wanted to practice muay thai while at the same time be able to chill on the beach.Good time sports village is for me an ideal option, since i want to do sports every day. During my stay i got discount on muay thai, used the gym thats located on the resort (little bit rusty equipment yet functional, and what can you get expect from an outside gym…) and made use of the tennis and pickleball court. The rooms are basic and comfortable, more than what i expected at this price range. If you want luxury there’s other places in a different price category. But if I would come back for a longer period i’d definitely stay at good times again. Friendly staff, good vibes, like minded people, good value for your buck

Great place to come and train! This is my second visit to the resort to stay and train muay thai. Both times during low season. This time for a month. The resort offers train and stay packages for amazing prices. The accommodation is very good, rooms are big and comfortable with bathroom and small kitchen. The service here is excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The resort makes everything so easy, providing information on transport to and from the island, including pick up and drop off to the pier and resort on the island. The gym is excellent and the trainers are very good. All levels are accommodated, and the atmosphere is very good and welcoming. The group classes are fun and high quality. The private classes are also very high quality. The coaches really make it a great place to train. The equipment in the gym is great and well looked after. Finally, the location is brilliant. Koh mak is a beautiful island and so easy to get around. The beaches are stunning and is a brilliant place to come and train. Highly recommend and I'll be back for sure!

There's this one particular harbour, so far and yet so near…I really enjoy the laid back vibe of this island, Koh Mak. Hope to return soon.

Really great stay! Koh Mak Village comes with so many advantages as you can use the wide verity of sports facilities such as Tennis, Yoga pavilion or a gym. Additionally, you get to use the co working space which is great when you work remotely or just have to answer some emails! It’s ideal for people who stay on the island for a longer time. It’s also cheaper in the rainy season, which is great because all the facilities can be used no matter what the weather is.

A beautiful quiet island. Well managed with an eye for the environment and conservation of the island. You can move around on a scooter or electric golf cart. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great for a longer stay. Practicing yoga, muay Thai and possibly working remotely.

Fantastic Island and accommodation if you want to relax and enjoy the island, not a place to party. I did a Muay Thai camp for a week and I really enjoyed it. I am a beginner but that was not a problem, great coach and facilities at Phoenix Muay Thai Gym which is also connected to Koh Mak Village, so it’s convenient to arrange the classes. The staff was also very helpful with all the questions I had which made the stay even better. Overall, I would recommend to come here if you want to recharge and do sports (plenty of facilities for all kinds of sports) but not if you want to have big parties and mass tourism. Will definitely come back again!

Probably the best place to visit in Thailand! Beautiful beach and cafe-bars but also a lot of sport activities to be involved (Muay Thai, yoga etc.)!

I stayed on Koh Mak Island at the Good Times Resort. My main purpose for visiting was to participate in Muay Thai. The instructors, pheonix gym, location; really everything was perfect for what I wanted from my stay; it was definitely one of the best decisions I've made in awhile! The Island can be very activity focused... sports, gym, yoga etc, or it can be relaxing, peaceful & healing. Really, whatever you want out of your visit you can easily make it happen! Also the bonus is that the Island is easy to travel and the views are amazing!Very greatful to Yodying, the Muay Thai Instructors, Mr Peak and everyone else I spent time with during my visit 🙏. I will be back soon
