27 October 2018It was the worst experience that I have ever encountered. I have reserved a room with a hotel booking app. which can be reserved through as usual But when we arrived, it was the picture we saw. No matter how much I called, not even Khun Aeng was confused for a long time. Because it was already evening when we arrived. So drive straight and go all the way in, near the edge of the reservoir and then at another accommodation. Really lucky, I almost went.

If you truly want to experience a stay typical of Asia, unlike the hotels often found in Bangkok or other places, this place is a must-visit. It is highly recommended for solo backpackers or groups of friends interested in exploring nearby destinations such as Burma-Mon-Karen-Thai villages, trekking spots, and waterfalls. The house owner, Aunty, is exceptionally generous and speaks English fluently. Perhaps most importantly, she is a living history book with 30 years old local experience, sharing many untold, sad but true stories about the village and the relationship between Burma and Thailand. Additionally, she has a bright and remarkable daughter. Although my stay was only for one night due to my tight travel schedule, I recommend staying for at least four days to fully immerse yourself. While the morning alms for monks are important, understanding the historical background and relationship between these two countries is equally valuable. I wish I had more time. (P.S I'm Burmese so I don't have any problem with the housing and I felt it like our home)

Grandmað§ is very cute. very friendly Filled with the feeling of being at a relative's house. Next time, definitely come back to stay again.

Very cheap, but it's a shouting homestay. That is, dividing a room at the back of the house for people to stay and things like that. And the room probably hasn't been cleaned much. There's a lot of dust and cobwebs. It's really like living in a house. But Auntie is kind, gives good advice, and helps.

I used the laundry service here a few weeks ago whilst staying nearby. Not only did I get clean clothes, I also chatted with the lovely owner who has excellent english. Through this conversation I learnt an immense amount about life in Sangkhlaburi.

If you expect friendship and good service from here, give 5 stars.â Auntie and her daughter are very cute. The location is an old house in a rural style. The bathroom has a home-style bed, no air conditioning, no hot water. But I slept very well... Affordable price

Grandma's Home SangkhlaburiIt's a very homely inn. You can sleep cool even without air conditioning. The bed is comfortable and comes with a mosquito net.It was a valuable experience to learn about the way of life, like staying at a private house in the countryside, with showers and toilets.I regret that I should have taken a photo.Be sure to bring mosquito coils with you as a must-have item. There are many mosquitoesðĶFor breakfast, I put sticky rice in a bamboo tube and roasted it over a fire. It's chewy and delicious as a breakfast while traveling.As a good experience of rural life âïļ 4 pieces

We truly had an amazing time over the 3 nights we we spent here .we had use of the big house. With its own bathroom. And places to sit outside .this is home stay true to its word .the mother and daughter who help run the home stay are two very special people with amazing conversation and brilliant information of the local area speaking perfect English and cooking a lovely selection of breakfasts each morning. Also availabile are three double rooms in the main house with parking and restaurants and shops close at hand if you are looking for perfect home stay experience look no further .true value for money also Mon bridge in walking distance with nightly market 10 mins away

The accommodation has 2 sides, the side next to the lobby. It is a one-story building with approximately 4 rooms. In front of the rooms there is a cot for sleeping. In the middle area there is a wide yard with trees. When you come back, it will be another house. (Where we are staying) is a two-story wooden house. There is also a parking space. The ground floor has 1 large bedroom and the bathroom is behind it. The upper floor has 2 small bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Good atmosphere, shady trees. But the house where we stay Not very good The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There were stains on the ceiling and cobwebs. I think if we cleaned it up a bit it would be very good. It's a shame we didn't get to stay at the lobby side. There was a good atmosphere on that side. As for service Auntie is very cute. Talk friendly Answering questions we all want to know about almost everything. If it's about the service, I accept that it's OK. Moreover, the room price is not expensive.

It's an old house, a cement house, a fan, and a normal bathroom.There are blankets and towels provided. Very simple accommodation But what is impressive is The owner of the place or the person taking care of him is very nice, speaks nicely and provides good service. 400 baht is considered good value according to the price.

Accommodation is hard to find. Accommodation signs are very small. The condition is very scary. The room is not clean. Not suitable for the price The lights haven't turned on since checking the room. The bed must be covered with a mosquito net. There is another xylophone in the room. So I decided to waste my money here. Better find a new place to stay. To be honest, it's not appropriate to open it as a residence. Who is thinking of booking accommodation? Think carefully first. Condition doesn't quite match the picture.
