We found this restaurant via Google. We had a special evening to celebrate. We asked our driver to contact the restaurant asking if they could decorate the table. They did a great job, great service! The food was delicious. If you are in the area this is 100% recommended. You can also spend the night there, unfortunately we found this out a little too late, otherwise we would certainly have done so

Came for lunch with my friends, I did not know that it is a hotel as well.The seafood here is very good quality and in a big size which I love that! The taste is good as well, but if you are not Thai and not used to spicy foods, I recommend you to go with no spicy.The service is average. Inside resteraunt is big and the location is good, you can sit near the river.When we arrived at 1 PM we dont have to wait for the table.The price is very reasonable!

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I recommend you to stop by if you come to Sai Yok. If you don't stop, you'll miss it a lot.

Just came for the first time (didn't come to stay), delicious food, beautiful bowls and spoons to use, good view but didn't go out to take pictures because it was raining enough 🤣 Recommend calling to reserve a table. Because I went after noon, there were still customers coming in. The walkway to the restaurant zone has a slope not suitable for using a wheelchair. Good service staff Will definitely go back again. The shop is closed on Wednesday.

Delicious food, good atmosphere. There are many photo spots and there is a sound of water flowing throughout the evening.The owner of the shop is in a good mood and provides very good service.I really like that it's shady and chilling next to the water.

Tom Yum Kang fish, fried shrimp with tamarind sauce Stir-fried shrimp and vegetables are delicious. If you're passing by and don't stop by, you're seriously missing out. Good service, lovely atmosphere.Lovely place to stay, full ten not deducted.

I've eaten here many times before, but this time the food was different. Did you change the cook or not? But they should control the quality a bit. The bamboo shoot curry is so dark that it's too salty. Fish topped with fried chili was undercooked. The rice was scorched until it was salty. Hopefully the store will take the feedback and fix it.

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of nature, placed right on the river. The food is incredible and made with love. Some of my favorites are the chicken cashew nut, morning glory, cabbage, river qwae fish peppercorn and the mango smoothie.This is not only a restaurant. You can stay in adorable little jungle home with big windows facing the river, and surrounded by trees. We had the most relaxing 4 days. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated.There are many cute little areas around the property to hang out in. Benches floating above the river, bean bags, couches, swings, everything! Truly one of my favorite places on earth. If you are a nature lover, you must visit. Lastly, the owners are pure and beautiful human beings who have made this place with love, brick by brick. Two artists with a vision they brought to life - a must visit spot in nature.

A lot of people traveling to Kanchanaburi may think this is just a restaurant however, it is much more than that. It is a homestay and a beautiful location to spend your time in this part of Thailand. We stayed here for four days and can't say enough about how beautiful the location and room were. Taoy and his wife are the most wonderful people and hosts. They made us feel at home and have such great personalities. The food was amazing. I'd give Baantangrimkwae a higher rating if I could.

Good atmosphere, shady, next to the River Kwai, clean rooms, breakfast included, hair dryer included, TV has Netflix to watch, but because there are a lot of trees in the room area. This may result in a lot of small insects or mosquitoes. If you don't like it, you may want to carry an electric mosquito swatter just in case. Or prepare anti-allergy cream. If anyone is allergic to insects Near the bottom of the accommodation there is a restaurant next to the water, good atmosphere, delicious food.

We stopped here for dinner on our way back from the hot springs a few kilometres further north, and the owner and staff were welcoming and pleasant - and tried very hard to speak English, which we appreciated. Even though the extensive menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian options, the owner/chef was very happy to modify the dishes to make them meat-free for us, and we appreciated his willingness to help. The food itself was really excellent, the view of the river was wonderful and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended for a meal in an area where good (and healthy) food options are pretty limited.
