A well-preserved wooden house, beautiful, clean, next to the Chanthaburi River. The ground floor displays pictures, books, crockery, objects, etc. that have historical value. It's a nice house to stay. retro atmosphere at a reasonable price It also supports activities that preserve the sustainability of the community and society. The staff are very welcoming, smiling, cheerful, and friendly. It's a great place to visit. Study the history, arts and culture, experience the retro atmosphere of the Chanthaboon riverside land.

Please separate it into points. It rained heavily that day.-No parking, there will be 1 space that is surrounded by employees. But he advised me to park at the shrine. Let me tell you, the driver is not a good driver. Don't go with low loaders. When we got down from the shrine, we had to turn 5 meters back (at that time there were no cars in the alley) to back into the hotel parking lot. The staff does not provide convenience. He told me to go back and circle the car in front of the hotel. You can park but must leave before 7:00 a.m. Told me to let the repairman come and park (eh Will you take the customer or not? We will cancel. It's raining. We come to travel and are ready to pay. We want to park in 1 parking spot here. When I came the next day, I didn't see any mechanic's cars.) We tried parking at the shrine but it would cost 100 baht. Had to park in front of other people's cars If he leaves, we have to move the car. (We're here to rest.) We tried to park at the temple, but the temple closes at 8 p.m. If you're hungry or in an emergency, it's definitely difficult, but on that day it was raining heavily and walking from the temple to the hotel got wet. Actually, I tried it and it got wet, but I didn't want things to get wet.-Good house, has a place to rest and take photos.-Sometimes when it rains there will be a slight smell of damp wood.- Loud noise. The outside noise is loud enough to bear. The only thing that was encountered was the loss of the air conditioner. The hot waiting sound was still tolerable, loud humming. But the cool voice in this room couldn't help it. Loud every 30 seconds - 1 minute, loud, clank, clank, clank, high-pitched sound, sleep frightened, can't sleep, can't sleep at 3-6 a.m. (usually I fall asleep easily, meditate and go to sleep)-Breakfast is for the community. OK, delicious.Overall, I gave two stars because The parking spot is not clear.

We spent 3 nights on Chanthaburi. It was a great stay. The staff is very very nice.I advise you to close your eyes to this very local hotel. Don't expect sound comfort. But if you are looking for a non-touristy and very local place, go there!!!Thank you to the staff for this wonderful stay. A French couple 😀

Welcoming environment with impeccable rooms, directly on the river and in an excellent location. There are several really nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were really kind and attentive. …

Nice historic hotel in a pleasant area but we were disappointed with the value for money. The services were really not up to par. Very poorly soundproofed rooms and very limited breakfast if you don't take the Asian version.

It is a residence with a long history. There is pride of Chanthaburi people behind it.Khun Moo, the manager, also has deep ties to this place as Chanthaburi people. The interior design of the rooms is unusual and boutique. There is use of the 2nd floor and the attic floor which looks impressive. The price is appropriate, not too high.Looking out into the Chanthaburi River, you can see the scenery. That is calm and looks natural.I took a picture but still can't find it. I'll show you a picture next time.

This place is an old house so size of room and facilities is not exactly like in the hotel or resort. It’s recommended for people who like to stay and experience staying in old house which aging over 150 years in historic area and settle along the riverside. The location is superb and in the city centre of Chantabun Riverside area where you can hop around to explore the area. Room is a bit small but clean. Wooden floor that you could hear the noise while someone waking. Breakfast is impressive as it’s provided by local and authentic food and on riverside seating area. If you drive, I would recommend to call staff that could help you to reserve parking spot next to hotel.
