I actually live in Kang Kiew and it is a friendly and cozy place to stay whether your stay will be short term or long term. I stay here long term and pay between 3500 to 4200 baht per month and get all of the benefits from a clean room, to high speed Wi-Fi, to a friendly community to be around (especially if you're new to Thailand). Also, Kang Kiew is located in the middle of many shops that has everything you would need from food to a music store. There are also three nearby 7 Elevens that are walking distances, a lake in front of Kang Kiew that I use for meditating at and there is a HUGE river nearby that is also walking distance. Finally the staff and owners would do everything that they could to keep everything nice, tidy and in working condition for you. So thus, Kang Kiew is a hotel/apartment that I highly recommend if a person comes to Tak, Thailand and needs a place to stay.
