I have been a regular visitor to this hotel for over 30 years. It is a place you will either love or hate. It is fairly basic but the new(ish) manager has provided a kettle, a fridge , free water for guests and there are washing machines downstairs to do your laundry. Free WiFi.The upstairs by the river is exclusively for visitors and there is never any problem from downstairs. The balcony overlooking the river is a great place to sit and watch life on the river including a family of Water monitors who live nearby. I have met two travel writers who have said that this is one of their favourite hotelsNarathiwat itself is a lovely town and the locals are all very friendly and welcoming

It's the best hotel if you ignore the environment and room facilities! The view from the terrace that juts out over the river is spectacular, and the old wooden structure has a nice fluffiness that you won't find anywhere else in Japan. There is no problem with the safety of the town. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' travel alert level 3 is over! ! !Photo from the terrace

One of the nicest guesthouses in Thailand. Great balcony to watch life goes by on the river. They raised the prices though since last year (now 250 -300 THB) and no reduction for a week stay. Just for 1 month stay.

Nice cozy place with restaurant - good food - and really friendly and helpful keeper. The rooms are in the backyard and the ones to the riverside have a fresh breeze and calming view.I enjoyed the atmosphere, specially after the traffic gauntlet at the marketThe low-cost rooms are clean with fan and shared bathrooms.Would like to stay longer.

The groundfloor is a brothel, but the staff will do its best for you to have a nice stay. Nice view on the river, good price, cheap laundry service and friendly women...
