Great little place run by a nice local family. Clean room which also has a small kitchen at the back if you plan on cooking yourself. Breakfast is also included which you can book in advance. Surrounded by a lot of greenery and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Family also provides motorbikes for rent if you like to visit other places. 100% would recommend. If you like luxury, then this place is not for you.

I definitely can't understand the one-star-rating. Koh Kood is still a young touristic island. The family provided a clean and cozy house. It's not western-modern/continental-modern - but pretty close to it - and that's absolutely fine! Of course their home is now and then still under construction, because they actually LIVE there. It's a homestay. We got a clean bungalow, with a TV, a kitchen, a bathroom, free coffee and a friendly family. Breakfast was always super fast and yummi. Location is close to a beach and definitely a jungle experience. Windows have nets on it, so you're insect-free, when using it properly. Be kind to kind people:-)

We had a wonderful time here with this lovely family. The bungalow is clean, quite modern and comes with everything you’ll need. Also the family is very supportive and trying to make your stay as great as possible. You can even rent a scooter. I highly recommend this homestay. It’s also close to a beautiful beach you can reach within a 10 minutes walk.Thanks for this great time!

Unfortunately it wasn't clean at all - see photos (floor, toilet, cobwebs everywhere in the kitchen, dead mosquitoes on the light switch, dirty towels) and there was no sink in the bathroom. In the kitchen the walls were open at the top. The view from the room: shelter and construction site. This was not stated when booking. Otherwise the accommodation is not far from the beach and is inexpensive. The owners were friendly and helpful. If you don't value cleanliness and want to save money and be close to the beach, this is the place for you 😊
