This resort is now closed and undergoing a refurb after being taken over by la vela.i am led to believe that it will be incorporated into the la vela complex on completion,two very contrasting styles here so it will be interesting to see what they do.

Currently being refurbished as it's owned by the La Vela hotel beside it., pool is gone and joiners working Aug18 lots of planting started as well as new dock etc.

This was our first visit to Thailand and we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. We had a lovely spacious pool access room which was kept spotless throughout by housekeeping. The hotel has direct beach access which you can walk along quite easily. Lots of choice for breakfast. Lunch and dinner excellent too. Alcohol is fairly experience but we made good use of 'happy hour!'. Delightful staff who always want to make your stay enjoyable and one to remember. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel on the beach, food and drink are more expensive than outside the hotel but you are paying for beach front luxury. Just bring toilet roll as the 1 ply stuff the hotel provides leaves you performing, water closet origami.

My group only stayed for one night. It was very nice and also inexpensive (I think because there was construction going on). I'm putting 4 stars because one of the rooms was a little dirty and the shower did not work.

Came in February 2013 and extraordinary hotel. Perfect service, great breakfast and great location with beach access. Returned in October 2016 and the.... Change of ownership, hotel in progress structure around therefore big noise pollution (even if the hotel has nothing to do with it) but these at the beach closes because of the work therefore obliged to go around the city. Empty swimming pool.... In short, a huge disappointment. ..
