A small hotel near the main points of the district. The outside may not look elegant, but the condition of the room is ok compared to the prices around here. Cool air conditioner, wide bed, thick blankets, and a fan provided. The owner and staff provide good service.

The room is spacious, clean, the bed is a bit hard but comfortable. There is air conditioning + fan, water heater, soap, free water, no refrigerator, plenty of parking, in the lobby area there is a small shop. The back is next to a small canal. Not far from the hotel, there is KFC Lotus and the evening night market. It is considered not difficult to find food. But the room doesn't have a window.

Return January 15 and 16, 2024.A charming hotel that completely satisfied usWe slept there for three nights, on February 16, 17 and 18, 2018. We decided to go there directly and thus saved a lot by paying 600 baht per night for our room D-5 which according to us was priced at around 775 baht on Booking and Expedia. We requested a room near the water with the boats passing there and we got it at the same price as the one we were first offered on the second floor and which was OK but more stuffy and darker with a large terrace overlooking the parking lot. There are also rooms across the water from us but are bunker style and very basic. We consider ourselves privileged to have gotten this beautiful room for this price in this small town which is actually touristy because of the floating market and the elephant village. Many tourists pass there exclusively for these two reasons and return to Bangkok by bus. We decided not to do these two attractions because we prefer to travel differently and discover the country among the people. We believe we are the only tourists to have slept there, at least in the area where we are located a few steps from the elephant village. Get off at CJ Express and you can walk to the hotel. Now that we know, we can pass the information on to other travelers. Cross to the other side of the boulevard at the traffic light, turn right and take the first street on the left and walk a little. The hotel is on the curve not far away. We were received like Queen and King with a smile and exemplary friendliness by the female staff there. You will have to get by like us by miming and with hand and body language if you don't speak a single word in Thai because no one speaks English except Nan who speaks a little if she is present. She told us her name was Nancy which is probably a pseudonym to facilitate communication. The wifi signal in room D-5 and on the large balcony is average but more than sufficient for the needs we had. We were able to communicate with our son on Skype and also open our emails and do research on the internet. We had a fan and air conditioning. The double bed is hard as are the pillows but it was OK for three nights. The room is very large. There are several TV channels but with lower quality movies and shows with few English channels. A large bathroom where we could easily wash clothes with a shower and hot water if desired. The three nights were silent but a rooster began to croak around 5 a.m. but quite discreetly all the same. We requested a kettle, two cups with spoons and something to connect my laptop with a three-hole adapter as there were only two-hole sockets in the room. Everything was quickly provided to us with great kindness, which we greatly appreciated as we had instant coffee with us. You should note that it is extremely noisy from around 6:30 a.m. with the blaring motorboats repeatedly passing our room with the packs of camera tourists. For us, however, it was a great pleasure and we took several photos of these unique and typical moments of this city. It is better to tell you that the canals are dirty and extremely polluted and that this is difficult for us as tourists to accept, especially if the protection of nature is as important to you as we are. We loved our beautifully and tastefully furnished room. We will choose a few photos which we will add later with our review. We are happy to highly recommend this hotel.Review written on February 19, 2018 in room D-5 of the Pueng Luang Hotel in Damnoen Saduak, Thailand.

Poor service and didn't come to call when the time was up. Came to call again, which means I've been here for 2 hours and then come to collect more money. That is, every time there must be an employee coming to call me. Every time they do, but they haven't come to call and since we're asleep, we don't know if the time has expired. I want to know who is at fault.
