3 of us stayed here in a Tree House Spa room last night. The rooms are comfy and tastefully decorated with good air conditioning. We didn’t have any hot water in our room, but wasn’t really an issue, as the onsen and spa is very warm. Our own private spa bath was a nice experience at 8am next morning! We loved the riverside pool, although it would have been more refreshing if the pool was cold, it’s strange to have a heated pool in Thailand!Food at the Restraunt was expensive but delicious, and my girlfriend particularly enjoyed her ice cream desert.Breakfast was a unique experience, as we were the only group dining at the buffet. I have to say the chef went out of his way to accomodate my friend who has a dietary requirement due to a nut allergy by making him a special meal for breakfast, and his service was noteworthy due to his attention to detail and follow up.The afternoon by the pool was relaxing, but the service experience was appalling:We ordered cocktails beside the pool at about 3.30pm. The menu offered “classic cocktails” for B350 each for what was advertised as “Mojito” and “Long Island Ice Tea” however what was delivered was more like lime cordial with generic alcohol and lemon twist garnish on ice. After two attempts The drinks were still sour and undrinkable, with no taste of mint or any evidence of a fresh lime anywhere in sight, even after we showed photos of what a traditional Mojito looks like.Unfortunately, the very high price for sub standard imitation Cocktails was a terrible experience, and the way managment dismissed our feedback over this relatively small thing ended up detracting from the enjoyment of our stay.We specifically chose a higher end hotel known for its food, expecting that the cocktails would be of a high standard. Unfortunately the bar tender seemed to have no knowledge IBA Cocktail Standards - which at the price equivalent to $16AUD per cocktail made them more expensive than the high quality cocktails served in top hotels in Australia. We offered feedback, and even offered to show the bar tender how to make a genuine IBA standard Mojito however they declined, instead sticking to the line that that “cordial mix” was their hotel’s “House Version” of a Mojito.Naturally we didn’t order 10 cocktails beside the pool as we had originally planned, and stuck to drinking water & overpriced softdrink.Overall, given that the hotel was nearly empty we were quite disappointed with the lack of attentive service, lack of personalised recommendations, lack of interest by the staff. Nobody mentioned to me at check in that we could book a firefly tour, so we missed out on that when we finally realised it was available. I think the lack of English speaking staff at check in was a contributing factor to this issue. For a room that cost B7200 per night one would expect world class service and international standards in food and beverage.I nearly didn’t leave a review, however the manager chose not to speak with us about our experience which left a poor taste in my mouth.

Little breakfast When everything was gone, they didn't refill it. The staff didn't wipe the tables at all. Have you pick up cutlery and set the table yourself. It's not clean. There are many vacant employees.

The kids provide good service, starting with the security guard. But the garden area is too big and too much. Until the cleanliness may not be taken care of as thoroughly as it should be. (Add a little more care to this part) It should be more complete.

The atmosphere is good, but during long holidays there are a lot of people. When giving alms to monks in the morning, don't think about the long queue. I feel sorry for the monk. There are piles of garbage near the canal. Most importantly, there are a lot of flies.
