It's a single room with a shared toilet and bathroom, an air conditioner, and no windows, but it's actually a solitary cell with nothing but a bed. The employees were quite friendly and nice.

The location is good, nearby night market,but the building and room condition is old. Suggest if you want to be comfortable to look at others better.

This place is very good for a "2-star rated hotel" in terms of value for your money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Mixay has a restaurant on-site and is very family/kid friendly. Free Wi-Fi.Mixay is centrally located in downtown Vientiane.

The staff are cute. The location of the hotel is excellent and really close to the night market. The rooms themselves are not of a good standard, there is a lot of mold on the ceiling and walls and the furniture is old. We had a significant discount so the value compared to the price we paid was fine. Breakfast includes only bread, butter and jam..

Very cheap price for a private bedroom and shower. You get what you pay for. Room smelled moist and shower area was wet most of the time even though i did not use the shower in my room but the ones in the common area.

Currently this place is called Rainbow Guesthouse. Simple rooms, clean (we had an outdoor bathroom). Simple breakfast - toast, margarine, jam, instant coffee, tea included. Dan, the receptionist, is very helpful and polite - his level of service is top notch. I keep my fingers crossed, Dan, for your development and good luck. The rest of the employees were ok, although they were often staring at their phones (those are the times 😉 but I think they could learn a lot from Dan). You must bear in mind that this is cheap accommodationI give it 4 stars for the quality/price ratio - accommodation is more expensive than, for example, in Vang Vieng, where for less money we can get a room with a bathroom in a better condition, but I know that the capital has its own rules.

I managed to get a good rest. Staff was friendly and the room I got was big enough for me. Breakfast was included every morning beginning at 6:30 am with a great view of the Mekong river. You can enjoy the sunrise and the sunset while having a meal 😊

It's cheap and let's accept a room without windows and not very clean without caring, but a pillow would have raised the stars. We asked for it but they didn't give it to us, so we only stayed one night

Unbelievably bad service, in fact there was no service at all rooms were not cleaned sheets were not changed, the receptionist didn't speak English I mean like 3 or 4 words, there was no cleaner, just a one guy there during the day while his wife/girlfriend is at work, he sits or lays down most the day playing with his phone, none of the toilets were cleaned unless we did it our selves, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, stay clear the people running it are rude and lazy, they even had cats that they didn't feed, I can not stress enough that this place was so badly managed
