The Hotel Maceo is an absolute gem! Super friendly staff and very clean rooms. The staff fulfills every wish and simply cannot be topped. Great location and great car parking spaces in the building. I can only warmly recommend this hotel with the best price/performance level.

The food had to wait a long time before it was eaten very slowly. Said you can order unlimitedly. But I waited so long that I got bored. Plus, you still have to wait for time to enter the dining room. Normally, if we go to other hotels, we want to come down and eat at any time, we can eat at that time. But here there must be time to enter. People who eat breakfast probably can't wait. Our time is around 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. We came down at 9:00 a.m. It's already 10:00 a.m. and we haven't eaten yet. The room was a good deal. Good service staff But it will be better and worth the price more than this. I need to adjust the food. Customers should not be kept waiting this long.

Pros:- Very attentive service at every step of the experience- Breakfasts outstanding, if you order traditional breakfast foods- location; plenty of coffee shops, eateries, and riverfront within walking distance- beds/mattresses/pillows super comfortable; slept very well- quiet- exceptionally clean- good Wi-Fi- gift of folding umbrella (for a daypack) received as a gift on checkout; nice gestureCons:- public areas (halls and elevator lobbies) uncomfortably hot- guest rooms, bathrooms and parking are cramped/small- no tea/coffee, hot water pot in room- ordered T-bone steak for breakfast (included in room charge)—100% gristle; inedible- views from rooms are ugly—commercial building rooftops- bathroom shower runs alternately hot & cold; unstable temperature flow- some would call the interior design opulent; I would call it over-the-top tacky- No pool or fitness facilities.- Hotel charges 3% extra for paying with a credit cardSummary: Would I come back? Probably not, considering the availability of several other Nong Khai hotels/resorts with better amenities/facilities and lower prices.

Clean rooms, beautiful location Excellent attentive service, birthday cake included. The breakfast is delicious and the menu is excellent. There is parking under the building. In front of the hotel there are many food shops. When checking out, there were souvenirs given as well. I was impressed.

Just happened to find this place which was a gem.|Everything was perfect, the room, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and the people were very friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to the center of the city and markets.|

Just happened to come upon this hotel, and so happy that we found it. The girls at the desk were very hospitable. The rooms are very nice spacious and a comfortable bed. We had problems with the Wi-Fi and immediately we were moved to another room. The breakfast was more than enough. It’s a wonderful hotel and a wonderful city. I hope to come back again.

This hotel is located in the Nonkai region of northern Thailand. It is a city close to Vientiane, Laos, so it is a good place to stop by for a day as it is a border city. There is an underground parking lot, so parking is easy, and it is located on the main street. The staff is friendly and the facilities are excellent.
