Beautiful Place in Nong Khai, you should see this. Very Clean Place, stunning view to Mekong and to Laos. The Family who own it are so friendly and helpful. Our Room has everything you need and is beautiful. My Son enjoyed the Pool very much. It's near the Centre, 2 Km.Actually we want to stay only one Day, but honestly we will extend it for few more Days. We Stay here from 18.04 to 20.04.2024. And we will definitely come again. After a week in Bangkok, this place is perfect for a tranquil stay. Next to the river, has a small pool, and nearby are parks and lakes. Easy access to the walkway along the river, or a short journey in a taxi not costing much into Nong Khai town. It is family run and he owners have children who live here also. Very friendly and welcoming. I understand there has been reviews that it is slightly run done etc but while I was here the owners were doing refurbs and DIY. Its not a Hilton or a holiday inn, but it has a very charmful, true Thai feeling to it. Restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. I will definitely be back when I come again.

beware some of the Tripadvisor pictures are not Sofa Gallery Hotel. The Sofa Gallery is somewhat dirty, breakfast is terrible, rooms are small. The bathroom to our room was on the balcony. Sofa Gallery is run down. …

For 990 baht, you will not find a better DEAL in Nong Khai.A hidden gem situated by the Mekong, close to the friendship bridge gives a warm home stay experience by a Thai-Laos family.The rooms are standard and the beds are not five star however, the location and swimming pool make up for it. Not only is the hotel pet friendly (certain rooms allocated only), but the husband and wife who run the hotel go to extreme lengths to ensure customer satisfaction.I’ll be returning the next time I go to see friends in Vientiane.

Appearances are deceiving.We are motorcyclists and due to a hitch at the border we decide to relax a bit. We are looking for medium-high range hotels and, having raised the budget, we also treat ourselves to a swimming pool on the Mekong. Having seen the photos and digested the cost, we booked quickly. Once we arrived at the property, even though we had already paid for three rooms, we left even more quickly. We are sorry not for the money lost but because it has nothing to do with what they promote, it is dilapidated and degraded and we haven't even looked into it further. In Thailand we slept everywhere and never found anything so disrespectful even at much lower prices.

Just went to stay during a long holiday 6 days ago. The room is ok, the bathroom is clean, the service is considered ok. The owner speaks very well. The rooms may be too small. The surroundings of the accommodation may not be beautiful, but it can describe the Mekong River. It's quiet and not chaotic. Personally, I like it.

Not a clean place!Unfortunately, we had to notice, that the 'suite' we booked was not acceptable in relation to cleanliness and the entire place was not really in accordance with the specs/pics at the booking platform when we arrived/entered the room.We are really not picky at all and do not expect 'the perfect place' for a budget rate, but...We found poo spots in the toilet as well as (mice) poo in the bed and on the living room floor and spider webs hanging from the ceiling.The owner was trying to mitigate by ordering a tuktuk or giving us a lift to our next destination in Nong Khai, however, that did not change the bad experience, need to find an alternative on short notice and still pay for the first night of two (as it seems) although this was not a cancellation for convenience at all.

A trip to take the doctor on holiday to Kham Chanod, Vientiane, 3 days and 2 nights. Use services here including accommodation, sightseeing buses, and tour guides taking you into Laos. Recommends customers very well. Travel is safe and inexpensive.

quiet little hotel, family run, friendly,had the bottom right room which was great for the kids to go in and out to the pool,the pool water was perfect, not to cold.only 1 set of steps to get in / out, high sides.hot water with big shower head.coffee is located in the foyer.breakfast does need some work/ maybe orange juice or fruit?

The hotel is only 1 km away from the Thai-Lao Cross-border Bridge. It is a colorful boutique hotel with only 5 rooms. Although it is a three-star hotel, it is definitely worth the money.The hotel was built 10 years ago by two brothers and was renovated in 2020. The elder brother is a painter and is responsible for the building structure, while the younger brother is responsible for the interior design, incorporating Lanna (Northern Thailand from the 13th to 18th centuries) The cultural styles of the Indian Kingdom) and Isan (referring to what is now northeastern Thailand).After entering the gate, you have to pass through a small inner courtyard to reach the hotel building. After passing through the building, you will find a swimming pool and restaurant in the back garden. Going out from the back door is a riverside path that is under construction, and Laos is on the other side.

The female owner is very beautiful, kind and kind. The male hotel manager is also a devout Buddhist and a friendly and nice person. Vientiane sightseeing tours are recommended. We were able to spend two fulfilling days in a homely atmosphere.

Recommend it. The accommodation is quiet, clean, beautiful. The owner is friendly. Suitable for relaxing or while waiting to cross to the Lao side There is a chance to come and stay again.
