Phongsavath Boutique Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights before leaving Laos.Location was very good. At the back of Hilton Hotel.A clean hotel and the Staff was polite.No lifts in this hotel and if you carrying 15kg and above suitcase it will be difficult. However they do have a staff that will carry your suitcase to your room.When we asked for a room with balcony the allocated room was on the 3rd floor with a dysfunctional balcony ( no chairs nothing the aircon took the space and you can only stand there) the room was very small and the ceiling was low. You felt as though you were caving in. The room on the 3rd floor had sliding doors to balcony. In the night we couldn't sleep because there was 8 air-conditions from the adjacent building which was very close to the hotel building and where our bed was plus the aircon from our balcony plus the industrial air con from the Hilton kept us awake the whole night. Even though my wife had earplugs on the noise was way too loud. So one can only imagineSpoke about this to the staff the next day that it is unbearable to sleep at the room which was allocated to us.Luckily they understood after explaining the situation and they shifted us to one floor down with a bigger room and a proper balcony which had chairs to sit. Also this room was well insulted and the remaining two nights we had a good sleep.Breakfast was simple.The coffee was great. I reckon overall coffee in Laos is really good and probably one of the best.Overall experience was not bad

Wow! What a perfect hotel. Stayed here for one entire month August 2024 - usually while traveling to a new city, I'll try a few different hotels but in Vientiane there was no need.Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs and fruit for breakfast everyday was delicious and hearty. The room was both classic and pristinely clean and most importantly super quiet, despite being right in the heart of downtown. Both the air conditioner and high speed internet worked like a breeze. But the real magic that happens at this hotel is the service: some of the kindest staff you will ever meet, including the extra-charming cleaning staff. At the front desk, Mr. Singto and Ms. Phone were absolutely exceptional, helpful, professional and friendly - they helped me with early check in, they helped me print out vital visa documents (for no extra charge), and they got me a much needed power plug - saving me from a work emergency. Your consideration means so much.Thank you to everyone at Phongsavath, you made my stay in Laos incredible - anyone visiting Laos should definitely stay here!

Room size small. Hotel staffs good. But hotel hardware is poor. Plan to stay 4 nights. First night no water for 20 minutes. Second night，half way of taking a shower,no water again. What a nightmare. Day 3 from 5 o'clock on, no water. They move me to another hotel around eight o'clock. Not a good experience.😰😰

Gloomy atmosphere. The room smelled and the staff working at the breakfast area were very slow and unfriendly. There's nothing to eat, so don't come here.

The room is old and classic, but clean. The staff is very good. The location of the hotel is near tourist attractions in Vientiane. Although it is a small hotel, the price is not expensive. Breakfast can be selected as one menu, but I did not eat much.
