Best place in Thailand…Mr. Zen is the best host you can imagine. Great tips for exploring the island.Drinks and food are simply fantastic. Were there for a week.Mr Zen organized a fire and BBQ on the beach. Best Thai Chicken I've ever had! There is even a sauna. Great quiet place if you want to have some peace and quiet in Thailand, this is definitely the right place for you.Come again...

It was beautiful, few people, extremely good food and a lot of relaxation. The bungalows are nicely located, clean and comfortable for the price. Zen and Toi – the whole family were so great and sweet, we stayed for Christmas and the New Year too.

Everything was perfect. Our bungalow had a lot of treeshadow, and a beautiful environment. So we also hung out on the veranda a lot. The sea is maybe 10 seconds walking away. Sen and Toi cared so much about us. Food was delicious and the longdrinks as well. We stayed 3 weeks and we will definitely come back

Simply the best place ever. Having stressful jobs we were looking for a place to relax as far away as possible from civilization and the hustle & bustle. This is the true Thai paradise - like the rest of Thailand was about 20 Years ago. The family is super welcoming and nice. Bungalows are simple but enough. We slept in the tree house which doesn’t have a toilet … but that’s alright. No people, no WiFi, just the andaman sea, good food, a few nice rum coke & great hospitality. After one day on the island we decided to stay longer than actually planned. We ll definitely come back.

I would like to say, "don't com here" but only to jeep this place in secret :). location, island, owners, atmosphere - great and unique. And there is a SAUNA!!!!It's a very simple place if someone is looking for one, but I suppose for many people it may be "too simple".

This place has a sauna! It was a strange experience to take a sauna in Thailand, but it is one of the most delicious things I know. The place is very quiet, this is total relaxation. 👍🏼🙏🏼

This is a fantastically chilled out place. If you want to find the old Thailand, then come and stay. It suits artists, hippies and smokers are welcome. Great place to roll one.

The bungalow is luxury and was already rented. We chose the longboat because the treehouse didn't have a toilet. The host and his wife are real Thais. They are both very warm and helpful.Breakfast, food and excursions were very authentic and impressive. Going fishing with the boss for dinner or even an apre-ski bar with a Finnish sauna is only available here at Sunset Beach.Top location and always enjoy the 3 island tour with the boss's longboat.LG Benni

Had a super great trip with the guides in a private longtail boat to the 4 islands of Koh Phi Phi etc. Super experienced guides, very nice and courteous. Very helpful and took us straight to the hospital after a problem and helped us there. Top team, would come again at any time and would also be highly recommended for families. Food was very tasty... 😍

We stayed there for 2 nights in 2017.If you need some peace and quiet from your stressful everyday life, you've come to the right place!The facility is a bit old but ok for the money.Electricity is only available in the evening when the generator is running, there is no internet, which was very nice for us!The beach bar is awesome, never had such good cocktails at a fair price! Especially not in a situation like this. Sunset by the sea, hammock, with 4 regular guests from Finland who have built their own sauna.Arrival/departure took place via ferry with transfer to the boat on the sea, wonderful!

We wanted to stay 2 nights and spontaneously turned it into 5! The bungalows are simple but clean with a private bathroom and terrace. The price/performance ratio is totally fine. But what you can't buy here is the unique atmosphere, the peace and, above all, the warmth of the hosts!You get that for free and you feel in good hands and welcome from the first moment!Thank you for the great time! We will be back definitely!

At first glance, the Reosrt looks quite impressive. All accommodations are made of bamboo, everything looks very natural. You definitely have your privacy when you are there, the beach is ok too. This resort has no internet and no electricity during the day or the generator is switched on in the evening and switched off again from 1-2 in the morning. So if you want to charge your phone or need internet, you won't find anything here. Unfortunately, the houses themselves cannot be closed optimally; monkeys even came in once to steal food. This and other information had been good to get upon arrival. The houses have prices of 300-1000 baht, which would be ok if everything really worked. In our 1 room the roof was leaking and it was raining in. There was also a big ant problem that we also had in the second room. Unfortunately, the solar power in the 1 room also didn't work optimally, the battery made strange noises and clearly didn't have enough power. The toilet seats also urgently need to be replaced. The resort is beautifully maintained from the outside, nice garden, inviting bar, nice barman!! The rooms urgently need a renovation because there is no real comfort here. We actually wanted to stay 5 or 6 nights, but left early due to the condition of the accommodation.

This place is okay, we stayed in the tree house (no private shower or bathroom - for that you had to climb down the stairs) for 300bht per night. We just slept in our hut and for that it served its purpose well. The owner (I guess) seemed helpful.Sometimes it could be annoying to leave the treehouse and get to the toilet (the stairs are kinda hard to climb) and your feet would get sandy (if your barefoot).The beach right in front of the resort is kinda unfriendly, lot of stones. But very close (1min) are beaches that are better accessible.Koh Pu is very relaxed and you will definitely find time for relaxation.This resort doesn't offer wifi or electricity (just when it gets dark).I would probably go there again. It was nice and calm there. And the treehouse is a small adventure for itself and definitely a child's dream come true!
