The rooms are quite good, spacious, the location is very good, next to the road, opposite the activity area and the area for setting up restaurants along the Mekong River. Only 20 meters from 7-Eleven.

hey there!the place was clean, big rooms and the owner was interesting. outside there's a little garden which has still the roots of the jungle which existed in this area a few years ago.I had an interesting talk with the owner.All the best, Robin

We paid 250THB for a large clean room (big enough for both our tour bikes and still room to roam), a soft bed and a hot shower. It’s right on the Saturday walking street, so lots a good food around, and directly across from the Mekong. This is the place to stay in Chiang Saen.

★I have stayed here several times around 2000. It seems that the cost of lodging is not much different now than it was in the past. There was a boat going up the Mekong River to Kunming, but what is it like now?Eating street food along the river at sunset is great!

Nice and simple place. Depending on availability, rooms are priced differently (150, 250, 500). I got the a 150 baht room, which was nice and spacious and not stuffy at all despite it being the peak of the hot season (Songkran!). Cleaniness of the small side tables in the room were dubious but it didn't matter to me as I didn't use it. The water heater didn't work, which was a bummer. Otherwise for a single room it was pretty damn worth it.Owner seemed pretty shy but can be helpful if you care to ask her questions!

You get what you pay for and I only paid 150thb. I was only there for one night so it was prefect. 2 stars because the bed had a big hollow in it- part of the base missing. Great outside street restaurants just across the road beside the Mekong.
