We stayed 4 nights in Khams little paradise! Kham, the owner, did everything to make our stay memorable. She was helpful with getting scooters and in any other way. Her food is probably the best we ever had in Thailand! She spoiled uns every day with her cooking skills. You could really feel it is her passion! Her place is just so wonderful. Something to remember. Many people stay here just for 1 night - we would definitely recommend to stay longer and explore also the nice landscapes.

Like a piece of paradise in Thailand. The boss lived in Holland for many years and ran a restaurant. This gives her a different understanding of quality and sustainability. She was able to give us lots of insider tips for excursions.

Excellent stay at Kham Ecolodge during our stopover in Chiang Rai.Wonderful welcome and service from the couple and the employee who manages everything themselves.The site is remarkably beautiful and clean.We had dinner and breakfast on site and the products prepared came directly from their garden!It was just exceptional and we will come back without hesitation…

The owner Kham and Robert are super hosts. We got a very impressive and warm welcome. Kham has really good food cooking and she give us a perfect planning foods and service. She also wrote some cooking guided books. Her authorized cooking books are very interesting and beautiful. This Kham Ecolodge is very very lovely, clean and peaceful. We love all of the Kham Ecolodge. I definitely suggest this place to visit.

This was our favourite stay in Thailand!! Here are 4 things that made it amazing:- Tranquility. Set in a rice field off the tourist path. The 3 cabins are right in Kham’s lush garden, perfect for relaxing. After the hustle and bustle of our other stays in Thailand, this was a breath of fresh air.- The food. Kham was head chef in her own restaurant in the Netherlands for 27 years…! which means we were absolutely spoiled. She sources ingredients from local organic farmers and takes tremendous pride in showcasing Thai cuisine. Was the best food we had by far.- Kham. Kham is super delightful and very caring. She went out of her way to ensure we felt right at home. We even joined her on an errand one day and she showed us around some local sites that were completely tourist free.- The cabins. The cabins are clean, private and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was big too which was quite nice!This is a rare gem not to be missed. An authentic Thai experience hosted by someone who genuinely cares. Would stay again for sure!

Beautiful complex with a few beautiful bungalows. The view in the morning is spectacular. The owner runs the lodge herself and prepares the dishes herself in consultation with the guests (if desired, seasonal)... Highly recommended!!!

Superb relaxing place where your host is very accommodating and the location is perfect for exploring the region. The grounds of the Ecolodge are stunning with beautifully kept gardens and a lovely sala to sit and look out over the rice fields and mountains beyond - great for sunrise and sunset.

My stay at Kham Ecolodge was outstanding from start to finish. I was meandering my way through the north of Thailand and didn’t book online until 4:30pm the day I needed to stay. Kham went out of her way to accommodate me, noting that she had a reservation, but the person hadn’t confirmed. As promised, she called me back and let me know I could check in an hour later. This is a small but exceptionally well run operation. Kham asked what I wanted to eat and went out to get a small fish for my dinner, as she hadn’t known of my arrival in advance. Dinner that night was delectable, absolutely mouthwatering from start to finish. Kham was a chef in the Netherlands and is masterfully skillful in the kitchen. She filleted the fish before my eyes. It was a great sight to watch. Had I stayed longer, I would have asked for cooking lessons. Other points to note are the grounds, which are meticulously kept. Great for relaxing and Instagram photos. However, the cleanliness of the accommodations exceeded my expectations. My mom was a neat freak, and I remember cleaning the bathroom sink with a toothbrush. The room was just as clean if not better. 5-star Hôtel fluffy linens, and an immaculate floor. I swept my finger across the light switch to check, and that, too, was spotless. If traveling with children or someone with high standards, this is a must stop. The lodge is close to the Golden Triangle and the Hall of Opium Museum. Kham is formidable nurturing and truly dedicated to the lodge. You know when you travel and you meet people who inspire you to become who you dream of—that is Kham, strong, nurturing and determined. I plan to return again soon, and encourage you to do the same!
