Arta Loka Hotel & Villa and Restaurant

For 1 night and I'm nice

For 1 night (2 MAX) as a breakdown.But don’t expect to rest!This place is anything but a hotel and a restaurant, certainly the price is very affordable but we expect a minimum of a so-called “hotel” & “restaurant” service.No room/bathroom cleaning on the 3 days we were there, we had to ask several times for toilet paper, also to change towels.The staff is cold and snobbish, very difficult to make yourself understood because they have no knowledge of a language other than Indonesian and you have the impression of disturbing them when you ask something.Not to mention that we only had hot water the first evening, the second day it was a cold shower and when we reported it I said "maybe it will be fixed tomorrow" in translate, and we had to ask a solution for showering on the third evening (solution found, we were sent upstairs to shower and surprisingly upstairs it worked), power cut 3 times on the last evening.For breakfast it's noodles or rice, nothing else and tea or coffee (no water, no juice) nothing at all.The roosters crow all night without exception, and the bay window is very thin, even open on the sides so you can hear absolutely everything, the road, the farm next door, the dogs, to escape if you want to rest. And the height of it! A window right in the middle, which doesn't open and serves no purpose other than waking you up at daybreak, that is to say from 6 a.m.!The attached photos are photos of the room between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., I might as well tell you that even in a tent you see less light.Poor WiFi.The only advantage is that it is the only accommodation that we found "close enough" to beautiful beaches (around 20 mins from Crystal Bay, tembelling by scooter).And the air conditioning works well.Too bad because the space has a lot of potential, vegetation, location, swimming pool.I don't recommend.

The positive thing about the hotel is that it “looks” good and is relatively well located.The negative is that everything is very dirty. The bed sheets had yellowish stains, the mirror was completely smeared with something white and was full of stains. In addition, the shower was cold. There were no toiletries such as soap, toothpaste etc. Unfortunately I was very disappointed as the hotel looked good in the pictures.

Pros:Comfortable bedReasonable priceGood ACFridgeCons:Staff hard to find, so hard we didn’t get breakfast this morning.Breakfast is the worst we’ve had on this trip.Bathroom floods after shower and has a bad smell (not sure if that’s all of them)Wifi doesn’t work.Pool only looks clean if they turn the filter on. So no impromptu morning swim as it has a layer on top I don’t want to swim through.Perfectly good base to explore as long as you have a scooter.

Only thing they need to update is their google location.

Cozy place, great service. Will definitely visit this place again.

The room is comfortable with a soft mattress, I really like the surrounding environment
