Clean, quiet, safe. Icy cold aircon, instant hot water shower, lovely garden. Great location for local warungs or 5 min walk to jl legian. Very reasonably priced. Friendly helpful staff who organised bike rental and were available 24hrs.

The room looked anything like in the pictures! It's a tourist trap!Moreover, it was extremely dirty, a lot of hairs in the shower, which was also clogged. I won't get into the details because I can vomit...The only good point is friendly staff. But I'd not recommend if you appreciate cleanness.

For the same price you will find better elsewhere because frankly the hygiene needs to be reviewed. It's a shame because it could be nice and the location is cool, but don't expect the bathroom to be scrubbed or the floor mopped... besides the drains are blocked.

Only stayed here for 1 night. Can’t fault at all. The room was nice and AC was ice cold. Location is good, close to bars and restaurants. The staff were helpful and arranged my taxi to the airport early in the morning. I see reviews about dogs barking, I heard dogs but not for long and it was no issue in the night. There’s dogs everywhere here so there’s nothing they can do about that. Would stay again.

Great place, nice and comfy. Friendly staff. The area is very quiet. All amenities are within walking distance and delicious local food can be found steps away. I definitely recommend this place and will come back again when I return to Bali. However, Kuta, might not be the best place to spend your time on the island

Worst accommodation. Worst host. I brought a shower filter.It turned black in one day. The walls are thin, so I wake up to the sound of the alarm in the next room, and the weedy yard, which is not even a garden, is infested with mosquitoes. The old Yeongtaeng employee has no sense of responsibility and the room is dirty and narrow. Absolutely not recommended. The location is also worst.

It was the most uncomfortable feeling I've ever had.An old employee named Wayan has a very arrogant and bossy attitude toward customers. When I complained about the customer forgetting to clean the room, he suddenly started recording the customer's face on his smartphone and threatened to post it on social media if I complained.Furthermore, he was hired by the guests to manage everything in this hotel.If you don't like it, just leave, of course I won't refund your money! he yelled.I've never had an experience like this before.Furthermore, the room-The room is damp and smells musty・The refrigerator was broken and the floor was flooded with water.-The residents on the second floor are very noisy, and you can hear footsteps coming from the ceiling.・The walls are so thin that I can hear the TV and people talking in the next room until 3am, making it difficult to sleep.・Pillows and cushions are dirty and have a strange smell・The sheets were dirty and there were probably dust mites and bed bugs, so my body was covered in eczema.・My dog's barking is so loud that I wake up many times.・During my one-week stay, the room was never cleaned or the sheets changed.→When I asked why there was no cleaning, I was told that they didn't have a spare key, so if the guests were out, they couldn't clean the room.→When I left the key inside the room to encourage cleaning, the room was locked with the spare key and I was locked out for two hours at night. For your safety, please be sure to lock your door and go out.→What I was told was different every time, and I ended up with a spare key, and the room was never cleaned. Every night you have to fight the dogs, tell them to shut up, close the gate to the neighbouring property to stop them running up and down the lane barking and howling. Waking you up three or four times every night. Atrocious. Had my room serviced once in six days

The atmosphere of the old prison is not bad.I can even hear everything from the room next door.There is no soundproofing at all, but the dogs next door keep barking when people come and go. Morning, lunch, evening, and early morning, it doesn't matter.Hot water works well

I stayed on the 2nd floor for 6 days. The refrigerator is large, and the electric pot is small, but its performance is quite good, so water boils quickly. Both were very well spent during our stay. I requested room cleaning once and they cleaned the room as well. There were a lot of plants in the garden, so the view from the terrace was nice.I think the condition of the bathroom and shower room is very important in Bali, where you shower two or three times a day. The bathroom is spacious. The water pressure is great and the hot water comes out well. It was a very rainy season, but the bathroom floor dried quickly due to good ventilation.There is a pretty dog named ‘Tama’ that follows the owner around every day. A good and smart dog that follows the owner when he cleans, but does not enter the guest's room. If you approach slowly, allow me to touch you. The owner asked for permission to have a dog, but there was no problem at all, he was just friendly and cute.The streets outside the accommodation are great for experiencing local Balinese culture, which is different from Kuta Beach. There are many cheap and delicious restaurants. I enjoyed a variety of dishes, from pizza and pasta made by Italians to traditional Javanese noodles.The downsides were that the loud rooster next door crowed from early in the morning (actually, I think this is part of the travel experience), and that the floor in the room was a bit fragile, so I had to be conscious of the noise between floors every time I moved. I think the situation is similar for most budget accommodations at this price. There are some good parts, but there are also some disappointing parts... I left with more memories of the pros than the cons.

The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors and footsteps in the room above.I couldn't sleep at all because of the noise of dogs and chickens from midnight to morning.Also, there was no explanation of the system at check-in, and I was not asked to clean it.In addition, the room smells musty and the air conditioner is not cleaned at all, so using the air conditioner will make you feel sick.The bed was too hard and hurt my shoulders and back.It's the first time I've been on a trip and had such a bad experience.It's a terrible place.
