I booked 3 rooms but only 1 room was quite good. The building is old, at the 3rd floor of superior type is need seriously renovation, cracked floor, broken door, leaking AC, green TV (better not to watch TV than to hurt your eyes because of the screen) what was surprising is the kettle seemed not to have been cleaned for a long time because the used water became moldy and disgusting.Staff work so hard but can't complain with them,The good think only nice garden and clean pool, and parking space availabe. Also very great location easy to find anything by walking distance.

DO NOT STAY HERE: before you check your room by your own eyes.The rooms are well below standard. All images online are photo shopped. This hotel has no spa. It is no resort. Very run down and literally falling apart. You will never get peace every time noisy and you can hear the whole rooms It’s very much a dump. Our toilet was not even secured to the floor! Flooring in our room sunken, bed was broken and everything smells of cigarette smoke, mould in bathroom, it's so dirty place and too much hairs everywhere , horrible shower virtually unusable. Door handles broken, bathroom door would not close as it appeared to have been punched or kicked.Especially cleaning the person who clean the room for you, he don't care about nothing place is very dirty and horrible

It's near the Airport so if someone stays there before departure traffic can be avoided. We opted for a deluxe room so the room was pretty good and the staffs were friendly. It's even near the beach and Kuta market. So people can walk down to the shops and beach easily.

The pool, gardens and exterior of the hotel are beautiful, however the rooms are in desperate need of updating and some TLC.|The air-conditioning worked well, the beds were OK our tap in the bathroom was hanging off.|Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Awesome location and overall place is great. The rooms however are abit dated. Aircond was good but shower pressure was bad. Wifi was weak. The staff however are great! They were kind enough to offer to change is to a different room the next day. Wifi there was slightly better, at least good though for us to work on (we're remote workers).Overall I would still come back because of it's affordable rate and great location which is very near (5 mins walk) to Kuta beach with lots of food options around.

It was a good stay at Bakung Sari but property got little older. They can provide you vegetarian options in the breakfast. The resort was walking distance from Kuta beach and the Art market. You can found Indian food nearby your stay.

Contrary to the bad reviews we didn’t mind this hotel. Rooms cleaned every day, inexpensive and very cheap for hotel near the beach with a pool, air conditioning good and a balcony too. Not many beds surrounding the pool however.

We refused and they offered us 6 other rooms wich 5 of them also had the same mold issues.This is not healthy.Mr Eddy the manager is aware of this problem.We where returning guests for many years and like to have a mold free room but that was not possible!Unfortunately we have to search for another hotel in the future because we will not return to this hotel.

This place left a pleasant impression.Very nice staff and really kind. Very beautiful yard and excellent swimming pool with gradually increasing depth to 1.80mBreakfast is a buffet. Sometimes it tastes better, sometimes not so much, but it’s to everyone’s taste.There is a store literally across the street.The rooms were cleaned daily. Bottles of water, tea, and coffee were also updated.Overall it was comfortable to sleep, there was no extraneous noise except the refrigerator.Very nice balcony.The downsides are the old rooms, a noisy refrigerator that growls incessantly and is very gloomy. Towels were not changed, but this can probably be arranged upon request.I advise you to stay here if you don’t mind the old style of the room.A very cool option for your money!

Great hotel, very good location. Large area, clean pool, delicious breakfast. You can have lunch and dinner. Very quiet and cozy. The staff is responsive👍We lived at home for three weeks🤗

I stayed here straight from the airport. The hotel is clean if not a little dated. No problems with check in and the staff were lovely. I didn't get much sleep as there must have been a family who checked in much later than I did staying in the room above me, deciding that they would move the furniture around the room at 1:30am for a good hour, with little feet running around, so sound proofing is a bit of an issue. The pool looked lovely and clean, and breakfast was good. The hotel is about a 15 minute car journey away from the airport, traffic dependant, and in a good location close to shops for any emergency bits you require, and only a 5-10 minute walk to Kuta centre. Would stay here again.
