Not recommended!I had booked a standard room there for 2 nights and in retrospect I was very happy that I had only booked for such a short time. The room is very dirty, there are cobwebs everywhere and insect stains on the walls. The "bathroom" is hardly usable, there are countless ants running around everywhere. I'm aware that it's normal to have a few insects in your room in Bali, but especially in the bathroom there are entire ant streets with over 200 ants (the ants also walk around in the toilet).Unfortunately, the people at reception don't speak good English, which is why it was difficult to get any information. And even if the reception is called 24-hour reception, there is usually no one there. The only plus points are the good food in the warung (there was no one there to order from at first) and the mosquito net over the bed.

Avoid this place if you don’t want to be scammed, eaten by bed bugs and mosquitoes, and stressed and if you want to breathe and sleep peacefully. Loud motorcycles run right by the room to the waterfalls. I moved to a new room away from the noise which was a bit quieter but the quieter rooms both have signs of bed bugs on the mattress and the room I chose is right next to the village below that burns trash all day on and off. The room isn’t sealed so the smoke was constantly getting in, I couldn’t go out in the balcony and now I’m super itchy. On top of this they cancelled my booking so I couldn’t leave a negative review on booking.com and I am awaiting a refund but they have insisted that I didn’t pay in the first place when I have given proof. I couldn’t sleep at all from the stress of trying to find where I paid and she was asking for very personal details like the credit card screen shot. It’s over the top fake nice at the beginning so for those who stay one night they may not realize they are being bitten because the bites don’t show up right away. Breakfast isn’t included. Please pay $5 or $10 more for a nicer place and it will be worth it anyway because most of them include free breakfast. It’s not worth it even if cheap. Also ants and cockroaches and mosquitoes and I asked for toilet paper and never received it. Dirt falls from the ceiling and gets onto the bed also. Value yourself more and stay somewhere else.

Very nice Hostel, nice and helpful staff, taking a fair price. Our room had a balcony with a nice view to the Landscape. The waterfalls are easily reachable by foot. However it was very noisy due too the motorway nearby, also at night. The Food was very delicious.

The homestay is located in the center of Mundo village, walking distance to the waterfalls. You just have to keep the track from the guesthouse down the valley and you will reach some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area.I had a private room with a double bed with mosquito net, a private bathroom with hot water, and a balcony with a jungle view. They also have a restaurant area with a terrace with jungle view and a wide range of menu options with decent prices. However, note that the soup in Munduk is served in tea cups, so don't expect a big portion if you order a soup. The owner is nice and smiling and she speaks good English. She helped me to get a short ride on a motorbike to the start of the trek to Red Coral waterfall.Unfortunately, the phonic isolation is not very good and even though the rooms are located somewhere down in the valley, you can still easily hear the motorbikes crossing nearby - ear plugs are mandatory.

Go in without any big expectations and definitely be laid back and you will enjoy your stay. The food was tasty, and affordable, but most options seemed to be fried. The views were great! Although they did the job, the table and chairs were not very comfortable to work there for a few hours.
