Unfortunately, we had a very bad and unique experience during our stay. We left 2 pairs of relatively new running shoes in our room, noticed this less than 24 hours after checkout and contacted the hotel directly. The receptionist informed us that nothing had been reported to them and nothing had been handed in. We then asked her to check the room again and gave her the exact location in the room. One day later we received the message that the cleaning staff had thrown the shoes away. Sorry, but that is not acceptable! The minimum requirement is to keep the new shoes for a week in case the guest notices the loss and comes back to the hotel. But the worst thing is: The hotel has not offered any compensation and has not answered any inquiries since then. That is absolutely no customer orientation. We therefore cannot recommend the hotel under any circumstances. ☹️

I would probably not stay at the Nampo Hound Hotel Premier again.Location: the location of the hotel is central (in the Nampo area, not far from Jagalchi Fish Market); but I found it to be a pretty grimy area, with lots of strip clubs on the street where the hotel is located. It is an old part of town that seemed very run down. I would suggest not staying in the Nampo area and instead staying in Seomyeon (for a more hip/clean area with great restaurants/bars) or in Haeundae (for excellent beaches and hiking).Hotel: the hotel itself is budget in feel. The hallways don’t smell great, the rooms are small, the elevator feels old/shaky, and perhaps the most annoying thing was that the beautiful rooftop that is heavily advertised on Booking and other websites was undergoing renovation. Apparently it has been closed for two months. That was a big selling point for me, and until it is open again, the rooftop pics should be removed from the hotel’s pictures.Service: no complaints on the service - a very kind man seemed to run the hotel and was very helpful.

It was cheap at 54,000 won per night, the room was clean, and above all, the location was great!! I plan to visit again.

Great location, spacious rooms and a rooftop. The cons were the personal, they were unable to provide sugar or a spoon for the coffee they provided in the room (without sugar or spoon) and that the toilet and the shower were side by side, something a bit strange. Views from the room and rooftop were excellent

It's better than I expected. Although the hotel is not big, it is clean and has a big bathtub. The bed is moderately soft and hard. It's not as bad as other reviews said.
