Wonderful hostel only 5 minutes from Haeundae Beach. This location is female only but their other location is co-ed. Easy check-in and beds are comfortable.

Firstly to avoid confusion there is a Hi Korea Hostel and a Hi Busan Guesthouse which is also called HI Korea Hostel. This is the one I am reviewing (the latter).Coincidentally, I did enter Hi Korea Hostel to ask for directions to the guesthouse and it seemed completely abandoned.The good about Hi Busan Guesthouse:Large common roomNice wooden bunk bedsTwo fat cats roaming aroundNeeds improving:Very difficult to find and no communication on how to find itNot much space in the room and not much air or natural lightDoors play some annoying tune every time you swipe your keycard in and beep if you don't close the door on the way outLots of smelly shoes when you come in, needs storageNowhere to put clothes or towels in shower roomNo explanation on when or where breakfast is - all self-service

There were cute cats. The room was so narrow that it was difficult to place a suitcase. Because the room is small, it is difficult to have a chat with several people, so if you want to have a chat, you have to go out to the table in the common living room. I remember there were mini games as well. For breakfast, toast, juice, and boiled eggs are provided. The bathroom was a shared bathroom and had curtains. The overall sanitary condition is good, so it's not bad for the price. A good place to come and spend the night with friends.

It's really near haeundae beach. We going there night and the morning just to take picture. And I love the cat. Sorry for playing (chasing) with ur cat. She's so cute. The room is a bit small. But ok lah. We did our laundry before 8 pm. …
