During a recent holiday weekend, I stayed at Y Motel in Busan, which cost 80,000 won for an overnight stay—a fair price given the peak period. The motel's ambiance is a bit retro, with decor that could definitely benefit from an update. Upon checking in, we received a welcome bag filled with practical items like toothbrushes, condoms, and douching gels. The room was well-equipped with essentials such as Kleenex, towels, bathrobes, soap, toothpaste, coffee, water bottles, and lube.However, the bedding was less than ideal—springy with a plastic cover and not particularly comfortable, likely designed more for functionality than comfort, reflecting the short-stay nature of many guests. Another downside was the air conditioning, which, although functional, could not be temperature adjusted, making the room uncomfortably cold for me.The motel offers flexible booking options for either overnight or hourly stays, which is convenient. Check-in began at 6 PM, with a noon checkout the following day. Despite its dated feel, the staff's warm hospitality added a positive touch to our stay. Located near a train station, Y Motel provides easy access to transportation. While it may not be the most modern facility, its range of amenities and excellent service make it a compelling choice for those exploring the love hotel experience in South Korea.
