We stayed in Room 632 for 7 nights and we were really glad we made the decision to book Pacific Hotel. Overall a great experience and we would love to stay there again should the opportunity arise.1. Superb Location - Take Exit 3 of Myeongdong Station, you will see the Hotel itself. GS25 downstairs and further up the slope, there is a more well stocked supermarket. Two Two Chicken downstairs is great for supper as well. Cross the road and you have the busy district of Myeongdong.2. Great Amenities - They have 2 water/ice refill machines at the lobby, coupled with a microwave. Super convenient! The room is stocked with Shampoo & Body Wash, a soap bar, hairdryer, 2 bath robes, 1 very sparkly water kettle, a mini fridge and daily stock of bottled water. We appreciate that the wall plugs are universal. We rarely use hotel towels cause of how gross they look but the ones at Pacific Hotel look extremely fresh that we used it as ease. The room itself was pretty spacious that we could open up 2 x 30-inch luggages. Very clean room that looks well-kept (clean and new looking). The self-serve Laundry Room at B1 is easy to manoeuvre, do take note that you have to use a card for payment.3. Impeccable Service - During check-in, we were greeted by Mr. William Bui who carried himself very well and spoke fluent English. The Housekeeping Lady was also very kind, chasing after us to give us bottled water when we skipped housekeeping. Unfortunately, there is one very grouchy middle-aged lady at the Reception. She always looked angry, always displeased during conversations and wasn't very kind during check--out.

This hotel is located right next to Exit 4 of Myeong-dong Station. If you are coming from the airport using the subway, the hotel is a little far away, but you can use the elevator if you use Exit 9 from the platform you get off from. If you have a suitcase, you might want to use the elevator. There is a bus stop nearby, so if you use the bus, you won't have any problems. The check-in time was 3:00 p.m., but when I wanted to leave my luggage at 1:50 p.m., I was able to check in. Maybe it was because the room had already been cleaned, but I was lucky.By the way, 3 people are using it.I was given two card keys.Tipping is not required in Korean hotels.Hotel elevators stop at the floor of your room when you swipe your card key.Go down to the usage floor and go to your room. First, insert the card key to the left of the entrance and turn on the light. The room we used had a closet, refrigerator, safe, electronic kettle, coffee cup, saucer, and ground coffee on the right. No glasses. The refrigerator had enough water for each person, and if you stayed for multiple nights, they would refill it for you when they cleaned your room. There is also a bathroom and washlet toilet to the left of the entrance. The location of the toilet paper was a little far away, but the only hotel in Korea had a washlet.By the way, there was also a toilet on the first floor (the floor where the front desk is located).Shampoo and body shampoo are provided in the bathroom. There were enough bath towels and hand towels for each person. As I'm sure everyone has mentioned, toothbrush sets, shaving, skin care, etc. are not provided. The bathtub is narrow. The shower flow is not bad.I change into disposable slippers and go to the back of the room. It was a spacious and comfortable room. There was a TV, and there was a TV front, so you could roughly tell if you could watch dramas or sports.I was also able to watch a drama starring Park Shin Hye, which was my first time seeing it. There were no subtitles in Japanese, so I could only understand the atmosphere. Apparently it was available on Disney+ in Japan on the same day.Behind the TV was a table and mirror, and there was an outlet and a USB port. The bed was firm and comfortable. There was an outlet and a USB port near the bed. There was trash on the table from the food I bought at the food stall that night, but I didn't put it in the trash can, so I wasn't asked to throw it away, and the dishes I used weren't washed or anything.

Although it is an old hotel, it is fairly clean and in a good location, so I make it my regular lodging when I come to Seoul. There are fewer amenities and the toilet paper holder is far away.I had a taxi called for me in time for my flight home, but the taxi didn't show up at the scheduled time, which made me very nervous. Who will take responsibility if I miss my flight? Also, the airport was very crowded, so I was nervous because my taxi was delayed and I had to drive through the airport. I'm glad I made it on time.It may be that the taxi was at fault, not the hotel, but since they intervened, they should be held responsible, and I think it would be a betrayal of the customer's trust.

Great access to MyeongdongThe rooms are clean and the lobby is also clean. The breakfast buffet seemed to have a little less number of dishes, but since I eat out a lot, this number of items might be the best. Also, it's convenient that the subway station is nearby.

Currently awake at 4am due to the heat in the room. They control the air conditioning centrally and it is horrendously hot even though it is October. Windows don't open properly neither. Tried to get them to help today but was just told that it is fixed by the hotel and they have upped the temperature as it is October now.

The reception and reception of the hotel is deplorable! When we arrived for check-in, the welcome was cold, the receptionist did not deign to say hello to us.As for leaving to check out, while we were waiting for our turn behind another customer, the 3 receptionists ignored us and took care of another customer who was waiting behind us.Although we remained polite and courteous, their welcome was cold and expeditious. This is the first time that we have witnessed so much contempt in a hotel service.

This is my second stay in this hotel and I must say this time, it is by far the worst experience I had in terms of hotel service in general. First, they assigned a room that was already occupied to us, and you can imagine the horror from both parties with the mix up when my wife entered the room and the other guest is already in the room! Second, they have zero flexibility as baby cot can only be furnished for babies 12 months or less. So is a 13 month old child considered old/safe enough to sleep on an adult bed? Third, as another reviewer pointed out, bags are left out in the common area. Fourth, rooms are dated and you can see obvious cracks on wooden pillars and old stains on the floor. If the hotel thinks they can continue to bank on location as a selling point, they will be mistaken as there are clearly better options out there with higher service quality.
