This is a business hotel that we use every time we travel to our headquarters. The location is very good. The location is so good that you can walk anywhere in Jongno, Seoul. Breakfast is also pretty good. Recommended for both business and vacation purposes.

Used for business travel purposes. The price is around 200,000 won per night.Very old furniture and small room. The same breakfast menu is provided every day.The staff's service is satisfactory. There are places you can visit on foot, such as Insadong and Ikseon-dong.There are a lot of subway stations, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. The location is perfect.

Not a bad hotel and central for most tourists, but a few key flaws:- no concierge and lobby is on 8F so if one comes with a few luggages it can get troublesome- super slow wifi particularly in the evening, this is just expected to work these days (sorry, no excuses here pls - we had to use 5G on roaming to get a usable experience). For business travelers this could be a breaking point- small and tight rooms - example we could only open the suitcase by putting it under the table, otherwise would not have worked- only two free waters in the room, fairly basic these days to get more water in AsiaIn summary a non fa hotel that benefits from the shilla brand to charge more than it is worth, was not worth the 200 USD we paid.

I made a reservation for Friday and Saturday to relax for one night in the city with my boyfriend. I made a reservation for the first time at Shilla Stay's representative branch, Gwanghwamun branch. I have stayed at several hotels using my company's corporate card, but when I checked in, the front desk staff kept asking for my business card to pay with my card. This was my first time doing this, so I asked if I could use an employee ID card, which I did not have, and they said no. He looked at my employee ID card and looked puzzled when I noticed that the company name wasn't written the same way on my employee ID card. He seemed generous and offered to help me just this time. I was planning to have a pleasant stay at Shilla Stay, which is famous for its good staff service, but I wasn't in a good mood right from check-in. The breakfast was delicious for the price, and although the F&B staff looked busy, it was nice to see them smiling. When checking out, I told the manager about the situation at check-in and asked if this was the correct procedure. I don't think it was like that at Shilla Stay Yeoksam, but I asked if it was like this only at Gwanghwamun, and he said it seemed like the staff responded incorrectly. In the first place, the employee who checked in must have felt something was wrong... I was a bit disappointed that they did not report it to the manager and did not properly follow up on customer service. I just don't think I'll come back to Shilla Stay again... It's a 3-star hotel, but the price isn't that reasonable, and the location? If I go for the Jogyesa Temple view, I would rather go to Nine Tree Insadong.
