The location is good as it is directly connected to the passageway from Sinyongsan Station. However, it was not easy to understand the location by looking at the map.

This is hardly a 5 star hotel in my books. Only the gym (it’s great) saves it for me.The room is big but it’s a bit aged, the lighting is ridiculously bad you basically only have 2 sets of lights the entrance ceiling and the room ceiling. When laying down the room lights are right in your eyes it’s horrible and you don’t have an alternative. There is no master switch, you have to use a weird touch screen phone (only on one side of the bed) and navigate through 2-3 levels down to be able to turn off the lights. The room are not really soundproof you can hear everything that’s going on in the hallway through the door like you were actually there yourself. You can also hear the PA from the train station (muffled, but still). Room cleaning is good and accommodating, staff friendly overall. Room service is and all the restaurants around the hotel are completely overpriced for the quality for Seoul standards. I asked the receptionist if I could upgrade my room to a suite as I was really desapointed and coming from another 5 stars in Seoul which was way way superior, but they never made the effort to come back to me, seems like they played time to me tbh. There’s a timeslot system for the pool so I didn’t even bother trying to go as I don’t want to be rushed out after 1h…Ah also you don’t have a proper coffee machine, only a boiler, 2 instant coffee tubes and 2 black tea… Japanese toilet was not fully functional (some features like heating not working)Overall very underwhelming experience. Would not book again.

It’s a tourist hotel. Always packed with group tourists mainly Chinese. The building has Novotel, Novotel Suites and Ibis all in the same building and next door is Mercure Grand. Location is not the best. It’s not on a main road but is behind main train station. And there’s huge development plan going on around the hotel. Expect lots of construction noise next few years. Stay away if you can

I went to the dinner buffet, and all the food was so delicious haha. I can't say that there are more types of food compared to other buffets, but it felt like they focused on the taste of the food! …

It was a buffet, and the menu consisted of lamb ribs, lobster, and seafood, so it was good because there was just something delicious to eat. …
