Stayed at the G2 hotel in Myeongdong for 7 nights in September 2024. I was a bit skeptical about the hotel because it is only 3 stars and some of the reviews and pictures made me wary but my expectations were exceeded. Firstly the location was great. Very close to Euljiro 3 station, Chungmuro, and Myeongdong station so easy to get around Seoul. Also the airport limousine station was a few minutes walk. The neighborhood was also great because although there were a couple of other hotels in the area, it had a very local vibe and close to a lot of restaurants and bars that were also mostly local. At night the streets behind the hotel came alive and we did not have to go far for food. Lots of cafes and bakeries in the vicinity as well. The hotel room was a good size and our towels and slippers were changed daily. Housekeeping also came daily to check on the room and clean out rubbish etc. There was a fridge and kettle in the room which was very convenient. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. I only wish I had managed to book a room again at the hotel for my final night in Seoul but will definitely come back next time.The only minor downside was the water in the shower was not very hot, rather lukewarm, but since I went during warm days, this was not an issue. Also the shower had a few water and moldy marks which should have been cleaned better but these were minor.

No greeting at check in and check out.They don't even ask you how your stay was.No explanation about the facilities at check in. We didn't know that housekeeping is just available until 4 pm. We complaint twice about cleanliness in our room (at night and early shift) but nothing happened. We could forward pictures about hairs in the bed and on the floor.Location is pretty good but the service is ridiculous.

Clean and comfortable. The room was very good and large enough. The service was good. Located near Euljiro3 ga Station. Surrounded with many restaurant. 10 minutes walking to Myeongdong. The price was reasonable. Breakfast was additional top up.
