I don't understand why people who have stayed here gives bad reviews. Personally, for the price i paid, I am satisfied with it. Room is adequate for solo traveller. Comes with Netflix and Disney movies, toiletries can be refilled everyday with housekeeping, free flow of toast and coffee whole day, 3 mins walk to metro station, nearby supermarket and cafes. I have been staying in this area for past 3 visits and it is safe for a solo travellers. I have also seen female couple travelling around this area. So you paid 1 cent, you get 1 cent.

I used it in Korea for the first time. It was very convenient to go to standard tourist spots such as Myeong-dong and Seongsu.Although the surrounding area is not very clean, I was able to spend my time there without any trouble. When I arrived at the hotel, an old man in his 40s and an old man who introduced himself as my father took my luggage. My father was very friendly and talked to me a lot, but he didn't understand Korean at all, so I had a hard time... They toasted some bread in the free corner and ate it with jam, but since I was in Korea, I didn't want to fill my stomach with a toaster, so I only ate a little. My companion and I are the type of people who like to stay as quiet as possible with minimal conversation, so to be honest, it was a bit difficult to check in, but after that we didn't see each other and had a good time.We had unlimited bottled water and canned cider, as well as ice, cups, hot water, and a microwave, which was very helpful! The room itself was small, but since the price was cheap, I thought it would be like this. There are only stairs left, so it's tiring to go up the 5th or 6th floor after you're exhausted😂I think everyone has their own preferences regarding the staff and location, but I was very satisfied! !

My flight was delayed so I could not make it in time for check in by 2am (I was 15 minutes late in the end). The hotel was uncontactable by phone, by messaging service and by Kakao chat, and therefore I was unable to let them know I would be arriving late. They cancelled my booking and charged for the entire stay, even though I would have checked in the following day. This is unacceptable as I had to book a hotel for the night I couldn’t check in and for the remainder of my stay.

I think it's perfect for a night's rest haha. I don't think I've seen this much quality for this price in Jongno. The room is a little small, but it has everything you need and you can rest comfortably.

It's about a 12 minute walk from Dongdaemun Market. This hotel is located on a side street of Dongmyo Flea Market (동묘벼룩시장). The market was held from around 10am in the morning, and locals came to buy daily necessities. It is convenient as it takes less than 1 minute to get to Tobyomae Station by elevator or stairs. If you don't mind walking, you can easily transfer by walking to Dongdaemun Station (about 12 minutes). The street where the hotel is located is only open at night, but the main street is relatively bright until late at night, and there is a restaurant, Moya, and a convenience store that are open 24 hours, so it is very convenient. It may be difficult to find at night as there is no lighted signboard, but if you go up the stairs you will find the reception desk, so please check in during reception hours. The staff could speak a little Japanese and were very polite. The room was much cleaner than I expected, and was fully stocked with shower goods such as a toothbrush and shampoo, as well as 2 bottles of water, 2 bottles of juice, an iron, hair dryer, towels, and hand soap.Disinfecting machine? I kept my clothes there overnight. I didn't know how to use the TV, and even though YouTube, Netflix, and Disney Plus were available, I couldn't use them all, which was a shame. This is a very satisfying hotel!

I made a reservation because the reservation site said it was deferred payment, and since it was deferred payment, I thought I hadn't paid yet, so I canceled it, but I received an email confirming that the payment had been completed. I was wondering why I was being charged a cancellation fee even though I hadn't paid, so I asked the hotel, and they told me that if the reservation exceeds a certain number of days, the reservation fee will be deducted as a cancellation fee even if I pay in arrears. I thought I had read the terms and conditions carefully, but it was written on another page. It's certainly my fault, but the hotel's response was the worst. Although I didn't actually stay there, I received a lot of messages criticizing guests for their mistakes, and it made me feel scared. I wanted to get a refund, but the reservation site told me that this would not be possible without permission from the hotel, but I couldn't bring myself to negotiate with the person who sent me messages like this, so I gave up. I'm very disappointed that I wasted 20,000 yen on a hotel like this because I was charged a fee, but on the other hand I'm relieved that I didn't have to stay at a hotel with such staff.

Be careful!!Don’t come to this one. It’s a spam. The owner is a cheater and liar. And also the area is unsafe. Ask a Korean on the street and they won’t stay any night in this neighbourhood!!!And also the owner is unreliable and replied the message in a very rude manner and only in Korean.

I made a reservation on a certain travel site because cancellation was free.Due to conflicts with other hotels, we had to cancel some of our reservations, so when we canceled, we received a message saying that we had been refused accommodation. After that, I received a number of mocking messages in Korean, so I ended up canceling.(Now that I think about it, I'm glad I didn't stay at a hotel with this kind of support)It seems that the site itself was unaware that the customer was canceling the reservation himself/herself on the system because the customer was receiving a message informing them of the hotel's refusal to stay. When I contacted the website, I was told that it is normal to cancel hotels that are listed as offering free cancellation.Despite this, I received a message telling me that I was also a customer who was canceling, which made me doubt my humanity.I have stayed at various hotels in Korea many times, but this was the first time I had been treated like this, so I don't know about the locals, but I would not recommend it to tourists. I felt uncomfortable, but I also felt fear from the message.
