I stayed on a Monday, a weekday. I found this out while looking for cheap accommodation to check in late in the evening and go to Hansan Island early the next day. The price was so cheap and there were some bad reviews, so I didn't have high expectations until I checked in. However, the moment I entered the accommodation, I was completely surprised by how clean and well-equipped it was. Needless to say, the basics such as bedding, bathroom condition, etc. were excellent, and even though I don't drink mixed coffee, I could see the owner's delicate side by looking at the white gold and coffee beans provided, not just Maxim coffee, and the multi-tap installed on the dressing table. I'm sure other people's bad reviews are not false, but I guess it may have been during the peak season when there were a lot of customers on weekends. Anyway, I am sure it will be difficult to find such clean and cost-effective accommodation in Tongyeong on weekdays during the off-peak season (for reference, the room used was a standard room).

The hotel is great, contrary to most (outdated) reviews. The bedding is clean, the rooms are cozy and have everything you need - from tea, coffee and a kettle though toothpaste and shower gel to TV.It is ideal for a night visit to Dripang at the hill near by.

Everything about the place is good, except the mosquitoes. No measures are in place to keep mosquitoes out. Doors are left open and showers don't fully drain so there's always sources of standing water. Unless you want surprise roommates, book somewhere else. The mosquitoes will make their presence known in a few hours. I dread to imagine what my fellow travelers who come here in summer during the peak season will go through...
