When I shook the doorknob, I responded by asking what was going on. “I’m the one who gave you the bread earlier.” My heart sank as I heard a man’s voice coming through the door. An unfamiliar travel destination, 2 a.m., a situation we encountered in the parking lot a few minutes ago... We sensed danger.After assessing the situation, I hurriedly contacted the motel front desk and received an absurd response over the phone saying that they had told me my room number.The man went to the front desk and gave bread to people who had just entered, but he informed them that it had been replaced with the bread he would eat. It was a truly nonsensical and incomprehensible answer.I was angry at the fact that I exposed myself to a strange man in a room with female guests just because ‘the bread was changed’ without any formalities.We were in a situation where we couldn't drive right after drinking, and we decided that 2 a.m. would be a difficult time to move accommodations, so we had no choice and spent the rest of the morning anxious.Can this business, which operates lodging facilities and does not follow basic manuals, operate like this?
