Very accessible by bus, and very warm welcome

This is my return visit after several years.During that time, the facilities were very old. The location was good as it was close to everything.The service was still good thoughI am a bit hesitant to visit again because of the old facilities.

I wanted to stay more comfortably instead of staying at a guesthouse, so I booked a single room and visited. Room condition was okay and quiet. The location was also good for getting around Seogwipo. They don't change towels or water unless you specifically tell them, so I think you'll have to ask for them if you need them.

Convenient to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, Olle Market, and Art&Culture street. Room is spacious. Got 3 power sockets but only 1 works. Staff attitude is very bad. We were having issues getting a taxi. KakaoT couldn't get us one hence we approached the Hostel Staff. There were nobody at the hostel recept. Only a phone number was written there. I called. A staff picked up. I am not Korean. Staff couldn't speak English, I can understand this. I took the initiative to use the Translation app to communicate With the staff. I explained on the situation I encountered. Staff sounded annoyed. At 2 points, staff hung up the calls while I was still talking. I made almost 10 calls, and during all these calls, staff sounded so angry and even raised her voice too. In any ways, staff finally helped to book a taxi but I still cannot help to talk about her bad attitude.Now, what is the situation here? Hostel staff got annoyed with guest who aren't speaking Korean. Guest took the initiative to communicate using translator app but staff did not and got annoyed by guest not speaking English. Why this happen? Hostel management should look into this and offer to educate their staff by teaching them how to use transla app to communicate with foreign guest, and not get angry in such situation.

Staff were practically non-existent and completely unhelpful. Room smelt of damp wood. Zero view from the window, yet light majorly spills in. Automatic lights are annoying and you can't just switch on the bathroom lights without the rest. No washing machine despite appearing in room photo. Tepid shower. Only small hand towels provided.Overall awful and overpriced. No idea how the reviews are so positive. Spend your money somewhere more deserving.

It is difficult to find clean, well-organized accommodation with decent facilities at this price. The location is good as there are many restaurants and Olle Market nearby. However, parking is difficult, but this is something you need to understand as all accommodations around here have the same conditions.
