Worst experience ever…. Rooms are dirty, with bugs/ spiders in the bath, the staff insisted it was au naturel. Asked for housekeeping but the bath outside was not cleaned. Poor location, hard to get anywhere. Staff doesn’t speak English, poor attitude. I would say a three star hotel performs better

This hotel is not up to international standards at all. 1) the staff barely spoke English, some spoke broken Chinese. Almost impossible to communicate. 2) location is very remote, most mornings I have to wait for 20 min plus for a Uber. So if you are not renting a car or driving there, I strongly advise against it. 3) staff is not helpful/ borderline rude. My retainer was “lost” after housekeeping, even though the retainer was quite important to me, and it would be a huge hassle to get it replaced. When I communicated and finally made the staff understand that the housekeeper threw away my retainer, instead of being apologetic and helpful, the staff and later on the manager Thomas insisted that housekeeping didn’t see it, as if I were lying about a retainer. Throughout the whole time, there wasn’t an apology given, let alone a solution proposed.In choosing this hotel, I was misled by the google reviews and the comments saying that this hotel has more of a local flavour, instead of standardisation of grand Hyatt, but through this experience, I learned that consistency is good sometimes, especially when it comes to services. For the international travellers, I strongly encourage you to think twice before booking this hotel. Afterall, bad service could ruin a vacation

My husband and I came here to relax and slow down from the hustle and bustle and this location exceeded our expectations. We were surprised to be the only Americans there during our stay. The resort is on a switchback road, 10 minutes away from Mt. Hallasan’s Gwaneumsa Trail. If you do not like the mountains and being away from convenience stores then this location is not for you. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the gym, spa, and pool were great wellness amenities in addition to the room with touches of bath bombs and desserts we found ourselves wanting to spend a lot of our time enjoying what the hotel had to offer. Emphasis on the pool being amazing, thank you for not making me wear a swimmers cap!! The buffet is delicious and had an amazing spread between western and eastern appetites, we never got tired of it. We also had unlimited Heineken that we purchased with our stay and found it to be an excellent deal to wind down in the evenings. If we find ourselves in Jeju we will absolutely book here again.Areas for improvement:- Add cocktails to the pool menu- Add facial and massage services to the spa to enhance wellness capabilities in the resort. - There is also potential for the resort to work with local businesses for horseback riding, guided hikes, etc.

It's a wonderful place in which I was lucky enough to be able to spend a night. Nothing in this experience tainted the pleasure of this short stay.Everything is perfect, whether it is the welcome, the swimming pool, the bar, the restaurant or the breakfast which is simply incredible, including noodles prepared in front of you at the minute (see the video), it is a luxury establishment where everything is perfect.There's even a great buggy service that takes you from your room to the main building and back 24 hours a day.The rooms are very spacious and the air conditioning is pleasant.From the bedroom terrace you can even admire a view of the city, and enjoy a very private sunset.
