This is a recreational facility operated by the Armed Forces Welfare Corps.Those eligible for use include active-duty soldiers, civilian employees, reserve forces, cadets and cadets who have served for more than 19 years and 6 months as of the date of appointment, and public officials of the Ministry of National Defense.After applying for an accommodation reservation through the Armed Forces Welfare Portal app, the reservation is confirmed based on a personal score system. I applied in the 2nd week of October this year, and luckily my reservation was confirmed and I have been using it.The location is about 1km up the hill slope, and there is a Seogwipo Hotel sign on the left. When you enter, you will see a spacious building with clean facilities.After confirming the reservation through the staff at the desk, you will receive an accommodation access code using a QR code. Tap the QR reader on the door of the assigned accommodation with your hand, and when it lights up, scan the QR code and the door will open.The view from the veranda of the accommodation is a wide view of Jeju Island's forests and sea.In addition to the desk, there is a convenience store and a restaurant on the first floor, so you can grab a quick meal.It would be good to note that even if you travel to Jeju Island and check in at night, you can get something to eat within the hotel as long as it is not too late.I was lucky enough to use it, and it was a nice place that felt like it was being managed by the military.
