The hotel is located a few minutes from the City Hall bus stop, which leads to the center (journey time 10 minutes) and to the KTX train station (journey time approx. 30 minutes). The term motel would be more accurate. There were five prize categories. We had a medium sized room, category three, which smelled strongly of nicotine. Cleanliness mediocre (mouldy joints in the bathroom). Rooms are only cleaned upon request. The owner is very nice / helpful and speaks English very well. The breakfast is extremely clear and careless. It consists of coffee, tea, toast, bananas, cornflakes and cupnoodle. Eating is done on cardboard/plastic dishes. There is no relationship between price and performance. Two ⭐️ ⭐️ for the accommodation plus one ⭐️ for the helpful owner.

We stayed four nights in the Gyeongju City Hall No. 25. The reception by the owner was very easy, as her English is very good. She is very helpful and offered to help us with bookings in Korean and at the end of our stay organized our taxi ride. Our room was very clean and the Wifi worked well (streaming and video calls were both possible). The location of the hotel is a few bus stations away from the city centre and main historical attractions, but we reached everything easily (also possible by foot ~15min). I recommend booking the hotel directly with the owner, as the rooms will be cheaper than if booked online.
