There is a folk pub and a hanok pension on the river near Sangjubo.The folk pub is also very quaint and has a variety of snacks and drinks related to the region. The makgeolli and green onion pancakes eaten inside the thatched house are delicious. The pension is clean and well maintained. We use one unit for 4 people and it is spacious so it is nice. The owner's passion for charcoal fire is great, and he has great charcoal know-how to even cook pork belly in an uneasy manner. Another fun part of preparing ramen is boiling it with tremendous heat.

It's a good place to visit at least once.It's not too far from the metropolitan area, so it would be nice to go on a weekend outing.But the road may be a bit difficult if you have a small car.
