Gyeongju 'Baramgot' backpackers' hostel

A family of 4 stayed in a 5-person room. It was nice to be able to share a room with others. It's within a 10-minute walk of Hwangridan-gil.Cheomseongdae was worth walking around.The facility is kept clean, quiet, and the owner is friendly ^^June 6-8, 2 nights and 3 days Golden Week holiday scheduleI like it because the price is cheap.I stayed one night today and had one night left, so it was a good first night.You can't eat in your room, you have to eat on the first floor. It's okay for just sleeping.

The owner is friendly and the Gehara accommodation is cheap. Don't expect too much, but it's still very satisfactory for the price.

Although the facilities are not top class, it is a neatly managed and well-organized guest house. It's not far from Hwangridan-gil and Daereungwon, so you can walk, and even if you take a taxi, even if it's a bit of a walk, it's within the basic fare. There is a door lock on the entrance door, so it can be used safely individually. There is a hall at the entrance on the first floor that can be used, but it seems to be open until 11 p.m. I don't know what it was like before Corona, but as of 2022, the hall feels somewhat quiet. Normally, in guesthouses, you have to look at the hall atmosphere to understand the overall concept of the guest house and the situation of the guests that day to know whether you can get along, but it seems like Corona has eliminated all of this. It is impossible to confirm whether this Geha had any parties or social gatherings. There seemed to be a lot of rooms, but they didn't seem to be full. I stayed in a dormitory on the 2nd floor, and the room felt a little old, but it was neatly maintained so it wasn't bad. Towels and toiletries are pre-set with non-face-to-face check-in. The men's shower room and toilet were separate on the first floor, and the separate shower rooms were not inconvenient to use. However, there are 3 shower rooms, but I had doubts about whether they would be able to accommodate all the guests in the room if many of the rooms were full. (Based on my previous experience visiting other Geha, I wonder if it would not be crowded... Anyway, I used it comfortably.) Overall, it was a basic guesthouse with all the basic necessities. Personally, I worked as a guesthouse staff member in Jeju Island, and I have visited dozens of places and have some experience, but by Jeju Island standards, I think it is above average. It would have been a premium if there had been breakfast, but it's a shame that it can't be provided due to the coronavirus. Prices are somewhat higher than Jeju Island. When I was stepping in Geha in Jeju Island, I heard that Gyeongju is as good as Geha in Jeju, and it seems to be true.

A comfortable stay is essential for a pleasant trip. This is a five-star rating because it was a place that gave our family, who were nervous about using a guesthouse for the first time, their first experience of comfort. Even though it was a shared shower room and bathroom, we had a very comfortable stay. ~~~

The owner is friendly, the location is good, and it's the best for a trip to Gyeongju. ^^ I stayed for 2 nights this morning, had a good night's sleep, and ended my trip ♡♡
