I stayed in this hotel because I came to Seoul to see IU. This hotel is about five minutes away from Hongdae. It is very convenient and the accommodation is very clean. The disadvantage is that there are only two bathrooms, and one is only for women, which is slightly inconvenient. The advantage is It was very friendly and felt like I was back home. I also met UAENA from Japan that day. I will come again next time I have the chance!

I personally wouldn't recommend staying there. The female dorm is so small that you can't even turn around. Luggage has to be kept outside because of the lack of space. The beds are horrible. I could feel the springs of the mattress and didn't sleep well. The temperature in the room was way too hot and people staying there were very inconsidered. No one is following the rules because there is no staff to ensure the rules are followed. So people would dry their hair at 2 am. It also didn't help that the door to the dorm was squeaking. It was impossible to fall asleep before 3 a.m.The bathrooms were often dirty and sometimes it was impossible to even go to the toilet because people would shower. If you aren't careful and go to the bathroom to wash your hands, you might end up getting soaked completely because the tap is connected to showerhead.It's also not a social place. There is only a kitchen with 3 chairs and people don't really hang out there.The location isn't too bad though. But still. Wouldn't recommend staying there.

This is one of the best guesthouses in Seoul. Bedding is washed for each guest and pods are spacious. Cooling is sufficient even in the hot summer. I can't say this is the case for many places in Seoul.It's converted from a typical residential house so some flaws exist, but those are minor. Washrooms are typical wet shower/toilet combo, with sufficient cleaning. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but food is cheap in Korea so you might as well buy something from a convenience store and save time.There is a bit of common space but not utilized much. Laundry is free - hang to dry.
