I was in a hurry to find a place to stay and found this place by chance and ended up staying here. However, I was very shocked because it was so different from what was shown in the picture, so I am leaving this review.1. Room:1) I felt humid as soon as I entered... and the bedding had a musty smell due to the moisture. And most of all, I felt uncomfortable because the bedding had contaminants and hair from people of different races attached to it.2) It was difficult to operate the air conditioner because the remote control did not work properly, and I could not bear to use it after seeing dust and mold inside the air conditioner.3) Overall, there was a strong damp and dark feeling.2. Kitchen:I would like you to change the frying pan. I was honestly very surprised because the coating was all peeled off and the center was swollen, so it was in the worst condition, making it feel like I was using something that couldn't be used in induction. And the kitchen was so dirty, dusty, and there were spider webs everywhere that I had doubts about whether it was a space that could be used by people.3. LoungeThere weren't enough chairs to sit on and the space was small, so it was difficult to sit together while eating breakfast. I think it would have been better to have several long island tables and chairs.I am aware that it is an exclusive accommodation for foreigners coming from other countries, but I think that the shared kitchen should be equipped with clean and good condition dishes and kitchen utensils, but the condition was so serious... I was at a loss for words... If you ask me if I'll go again, I'll say I never will... It was an accommodation that seemed in urgent need of basic reorganization and cleaning.

I'm Japanese. I think this is an accommodation with excellent cost performance.I received change for 5,000 yen for two nights on Saturday and Sunday! If you are used to backpacking, I think you will have no problem staying here!Good points•It wasn't a very clean hostel, but it was a nice hostel.•Overall, the hostel was quiet and not noisy at night.•There was a hair dryer.•I made a reservation through Booking.com and received detailed house rules. (It was so long that it was hard to read. It contained general etiquette, such as what time check-out is and not to make noise at night.)•There was also a hair iron.•I was able to use as many towels as I wanted←I was really grateful.•Breakfast was included. Milk, cereal, orange juice, and milk are available during breakfast hours.•After making a reservation, we contacted the owner via LINE (they sent us a video guide to the inn), so we sometimes lost contact with them or were unable to make a reservation! I thought there was no such thing.→There is a post about not being able to get into the room even though you made a reservation.Maybe it was someone who made a last-minute reservation and was unable to use this line. I thought so.I checked in and checked out without meeting the owner. There was no particular inconvenience and it was comfortable.• Good access from the station. Since Hongdae is a large station, you can also enjoy shopping and meals.•Bedding is normal, good or bad, no problems. Each bed has a curtain for privacy.Bad points•It's not super clean and shiny.•Beds seem to be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.-The keys to the women's dormitory and the entrance are loose, so it can be considered that there is no security (lol)It also came with sandals, but I think it would be nice to have my own sandals. The toilet and shower were the same type.Anyway, it was a good value for money, I could use a lot of towels, and best of all, it was cheap.I was worried about the lack of reviews, but I would like to come back and stay here again. thank you very much!

I had to cancel my stay exceptionally because my flight to Seoul was canceled due to the powerful Typhoon Gaemi which hit in recent days. They didn't want to know anything about the free cancellation. A shame.

Check-in is from 15:00 to 19:00.Even though I sent a message saying that I would not be able to make it in time for 7pm, there was no reply, and when I arrived at 7:10pm, there was no one at the front desk. The automatic lock was on, so I couldn't get in, so I banged on the door and knocked, but the woman I was staying with opened it for me and I was able to get in. They were very kind and gave me the entrance and auto-lock numbers for the women-only room. I sincerely thank you for looking for me even though I didn't know the room and bed number. The owner of this place doesn't work, so he should let her stay for free.I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't been there.I sent messages and phone calls from What app and LINE, but they were ignored and I didn't receive any response.People who arrived at different times also had trouble getting in touch with each other. It is better not to stay overnight.

The room is small. The windows are dusty. The curtain has stains. The location is good about 8min walk from nearest train/bus station. They gave a discount as I did not arrive on the 1st day. Always check the time of their reception, not always there.

I booked a bed for three nights. I had knee pain not long before the trip. I stayed in another hotel for the first four nights of the trip and it was okay to give them lower bunks. This hotel didn't want to assign beds to customers because of my physical inconvenience. I said they couldn't. I can only stay in the lower bunk for one night. I asked him to refund my money for two nights. The boss refused to refund my money and said he would fine me. He lied to booking.com and told me that I had no show and canceled my booking record. It was safe. I looked online. There was a dispute over booking a hotel in South Korea. I had already taken photos to prove that I had checked in. I paid for a three-night reservation and only slept for one night before they told me to get out. This is the first time I have encountered this kind of bad behavior. Taiwanese compatriots come to Seoul. Travelers, please don’t book a room here to tolerate such a bad owner.

If someone is price sensitive, this accommodation can be a good choice. Although the building is shabby, the equipment of the rooms is not very good (e.g. there is no reading light, only a ceiling lamp in a room with 4 beds) and the room was not cleaned during 6 nights. What's good: it's in a great location, 5 minutes from the subway, near Hongik University. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, toothpaste, and a hair dryer. Breakfast can be taken/prepared from the fridges in the kitchens (eggs, muesli, bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk and orange juice). After 11 o'clock there is an honorarium, the same -2000 won (approx. 550 ft).
