Clean and hygienic

Disappointing experience. The glamorous house depicted in the photos was not what I experienced. Instead, I was given a room next to the reception in the basement. The room was dark and not very clean.The staff at the reception did not inform me about how to get from my basement to the place where breakfast is served in the morning. When I wrote to them, it took them around an hour to reply, by which time I had already left for the airport without breakfast. Although they eventually apologized and offered a small discount, they were unable to transfer it to me as I do not have a Korean bank account.I understand that such misunderstandings may happen but then it is up to you, to solve it and make the other party satisified. One of the main reasons I chose this place was because they offered breakfast, which I needed due to my early departure for the airport. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.Would not recommend.

Before check-in, we contacted the owner through e-mail more than 8 times. The owner told us that we would use a self-service check-in method and provided us with the B&B room password and breakfast information in advance. When we arrived at 7pm, we opened it according to the instructions. When I opened the door, I was completely shocked! The room turned out to be in a completely untidy condition after the previous tenant checked out. The bed was in a mess, with garbage and used towels everywhere. Oh my God! This is too outrageous! I quickly contacted the owner to deal with it, but he kept saying sorry, and then gave us 2 coffee coupons and asked us to go to the coffee shop to wait for the room to be cleaned before asking us to check in. What made me angry was that we contacted him at least 8 times before checking in. What on earth is the owner doing? I thought I had entered the wrong room for a while, it was such an outrageous B&B! This time I stayed in a 3-person room on the second floor. The indoor space was not large. It felt a bit heavy with humidity. It was not as bright and clean as the photos. The picture frame paper on the wall was damp and deformed. The sheets were a little yellow stained. I had allergies during my stay. If you sneeze, the entire overhead shower in the shower room will be unplugged, and the toilet seat will shake and shift if it is not locked tightly, which is very dangerous. The privacy was not very good. There was a window at the bedside of the room facing the neighbor next door. One night, we actually found someone next door hiding by the unlit window and peeking at us. We were so frightened that we quickly closed the curtains. The neighborhood of the B&B is relatively quiet, but the soundproofing of the room is not good. When I encounter other tenants who are still making late-night snacks and washing dishes in the common area outside the room door at 1 am, I can hear all kinds of sounds clearly. It is really difficult to sleep at night. There are also mosquitoes. The breakfast kitchen is upstairs in a private house at the end of the alley across the street from the B&B. There is toast, milk and eggs in the refrigerator. You have to cook them yourself, but the pans and induction cookers are all black with oil stains, scorches and peeling paint.

Advantages: Very cheap and the environment is not too exaggerated to accept (not suitable for those with serious mysophobia). The transportation is very convenient and very close to the subway. When you come out of the alley and cross the road, you will find the Hongdae business district. The functionality is sufficient and there are services that can speak Chinese. personnel. There is a small balcony perfect for drinking coffee and relaxing.———-*We shared a room for 5 people, and the room type was on the middle floor of the building. However, the small staircase was very narrow and it was not convenient to carry suitcases. There may be too many rooms sharing a bath, and the hot water would be unstable. People who come in winter should pay attention. Breakfast is cooked by yourself in a self-service style, so you can experience the feeling of cooking by yourself while living abroad (I quite like the fun. You have to clean the kitchen by yourself).I will probably stay here again when I come to Seoul next time, but I strongly recommend that if there are more than 2 people, it is best to split the room into a two-person room. It is a bit hard to grab a toilet. 😂

I’ve just checked in and was surprised to receive an amazing service from ladies down stairs. Got duplex room, enough for 4 of us and with big terrace. A bit tiny, but clean and comfortable. Perfect location. Exceeded my expectations.
