MOST- Very good hostel, comfortable and quite easily accessible via the metro from the airport, only an 8-minute walk from Hongdae University station. Instructions had been given by WhatsApp on how to get there from the airport, this was very helpful. I was also able to do a self-check-in at 1 a.m., without too much hassle. At check-out, I was able to stay in the common area of the hostel until 3 p.m., which corresponded to the check-in time of my next hostel. It was nice, especially since it was raining.- The shared kitchen is very nice, modern, clean and very well equipped: a professional machine for dispensing hot or cold water, a microwave, a toaster, sachets of drinks available, etc. I was able to eat and drink something when I arrived at night.- Breakfast is included in the price, unlimited, and of rather good quality, it's a real plus! We were entitled to ham and eggs (which you have to cook yourself), cereals, sandwich bread, jam, cherry tomatoes and lettuce. The meal is taken in the dining room next to the kitchen, around a large table, and it is an opportunity to chat with other travelers.- The accommodation is very secure (code for the exterior door, code for the room, etc.), and there are CCTV cameras everywhere.- The duvet, pillow and bed are comfortable. And there are curtains around the bed for privacy.- The shower is hot and with good pressure. There are dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Everything is relatively clean, be it the showers, the bedroom and the kitchen.- Washing machines and dryers are available free of charge in the morning, and they look almost new. Too bad I only discovered this on the spot and too late.- Wifi is indicated on the walls via a QR code, it's practical. And it worked well.THE LESSERS- The hostel is good, but it is relatively expensive. I paid 34,000 won per night (but it was a weekend).- I arrived at night, but had no indication of which bed I should take. Trying to disturb the other sleeping guests as little as possible, I managed to find only one available, but the bed wasn't made! The duvet was undone, I feel like I slept in the previous guest's sheets, I even found a used bandage. When I told the receptionist about it the next day, she seemed surprised, or even believed me, and told me no, it must have been me who was wrong. I checked again in the morning and all the beds were taken, so I find this a very disparaging reaction from them, especially since it is their responsibility to show me the right bed. The hostel should number the beds and indicate which one is allocated to us at check-in.- Small points of improvement: breakfast is very good, but a few more fruits would make it perfect. I didn't know this lock system in the bathroom, I closed it incorrectly and someone came in: a little explanation posted on the wall might help.- I only stayed one night so I'm not sure, but I have the impression that there were no lockers to put your backpack.
