I stayed in room 512.When I went to the front desk and checked in, the first thing the lady said was "Ni hao".Even after I handed over the reservation confirmation, they still didn't understand.I couldn't communicate in Japanese, Korean, or English.There was no check-in form to fill out, and the hotel had to check the name on the card key with a sticky note with the guest's name written in alphabetical letters against the name on the reservation confirmation.The drain in the bathroom in the room was just a hose inserted, so the odor leaked out and the room smelled like the toilet.To make matters worse, until after 12am, the loud sound of water coming from other rooms could be heard throughout the room, leaking from the drain.I have a TV, but the antenna doesn't seem to be connected, so I can't see anything.There is a Korean-style outlet, but it is broken and the wall is peeling off, so the outlet can be removed from the wall, so when you plug in or unplug it, the wires will be exposed, so be careful not to get an electric shock. .The voltage is more than double that of Japan, so if you get an electric shock, sparks will fly out, so you should be prepared to die.I will never use this hotel again.The price is about 10,000 yen for two people for two nights, but there are many places around this price, so I failed this time.

Booked via agoda...staff at counter does not understand english..speaks only chinese and said she is the cleaner. I already paid but she said there is no staff she can contact and ask us to book other hotel. My first bad experience with philstay. Please refund ! Please dont book this hotel.

The reason I’m giving this place 5 stars is because the staff was SUPER helpful! They helped me map out the attractions I was going to see and which subways to take, they helped translate words I needed! Amazing! Just amazing!Excellent location, centrally locatedRight next to the subwayNice cosy beds, however I had to take super short showers because the water got so cold so quickly. Besides that it’s a great affordable place to stay in Seoul
