The location is very convenient, but the room is small enoughFortunately, if you live in a side room, you can open the window for ventilation.Otherwise it would be really scaryThere is breakfast available in the morningBut you have to wash your own dishes and cups after eating

Understanding this is a hostel, we were able to tolerate the smaller size room and the shower/toilet combination however, the bed was extremely uncomfortable! Had the worst night sleep in a long time. Just like as if we were sleeping on a table. Sleep is priority after long days exploring so this was not suitable and therefore will not be returning. Would highly recommend the hostel to spend a bit to improve the mattresses! Would not recommend this place for anyone who has pre-existing back issues. Again everyone has different level of comforts but this would not for us.

I really liked the open roof, on which there are tables with umbrellas. It's nice to sit on them in the evenings and discuss something or eat. …

Before making the booking, i was hesitant at first because of the reviews. Please keep in mind that this is a hostel, so do your research before booking and keep your expectations. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay.Location : It’s in the heart of myeongdong shopping street. Myeongdong is well known as a touristy locations, especially for the shopping (olive young, many skincare korean skin care brand, etc). It’s also next to the night market which is amazing. I plan to spend most of my time store hopping in myeongdong. Therefore it’s a great location for tourist. It’s also very close to bus station and the subway that will take your to several places nearby, for example the gyeongbokgung palace & buchon hanok village.Room: I did my research prior to booking and i know beforehand that the room will be small, so i wasn’t surprised at all. I spend most of my time outside and only come back at night to sleep, so i didn’t have problem at all with size of the room. On the other hand, bathroom is very small. But then again, it does the job, only need to take a short shower, not a problem at all. I saw some review that said the room was dirty and smelly. However, mine was very clean!! I stayed in the standard room, 1211. Since this is a hostel, they don’t clean the room everyday. I am pretty much a clean person, so i tried to keep my room as clean as possible, and request a change when it’s needed.Facility : The hostel served breakfast. However, i never tried the breakfast because i always go out around 11 am, the breakfast would be finished by that time. You have to clean your plates and utensil (it’s a hostel, remember!) and i don’t mind at all because this is how you do at airbnb anyway. The dining tables is only a few, so prepare your time to get the breakfast. The hostel also provide you with umbrella that you can take outside (it was so hot in seoul during summer and randomly raining). It has rooftop where you can enjoy the city view from above. In the room, they provide hairdryer, sandal, and the most important for me is honestly conditioner hehe (even some hotels don’t always provide it).Service: On top of all, i would say my biggest rating would go to the service. The front office is very friendly. I had visa issue so i had trouble with the hostel booking. They have a very restrictive policy, so be mindful about your travel itinerary, make sure everything is settled so you won’t have to do date changes or such thing. We were able to settle a solution for my problem and i appreciate the hostel management for it. I also lose my bag in public bus and the hostel staff helped me to contact the bus stations office and were able to found my bag, very helpful 😭❤️.Overall, i would recommend this place if you visit seoul.
