Had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Everything I needed for my stay in Seoul. Very good bathroom facility in my room with great water pressure. In a quiet little neighborhood just on the edge of Hongdae. Easy access to great restaurants, cafes, shopping and transit. The host was so nice - lent me her umbrella during a random downpour. The shared spaces are very comfortable. πππΌπ°π·

I chose this guesthouse because it was close to Hongdae (about 10 minds by walk) and very cheap. I was worried before making a reservation bc there were some bad reviews. But it turns out to be the best decision I've ever made!Β β¦

It's been a while since I went on an outing to Seoul ~ I'm a middle school student. To enjoy my youth with my children. I found out about i-House Chinchin while thinking about choosing a place to stay in Hongdae!Β β¦

The hotel is relatively old, and the location is about a 15-minute walk from the Hongdae business district. However, there is a bus nearby. The room is quite clean, and I feel good about owning a house.Β β¦

Poorly maintained room, dusty like the entire establishment including the reception, common areas and terrace. Wifi is weak to non-existent. The very inclined stairs are dangerous with suitcases.Β β¦

The host was friendly and there were a lot of rooms, but I couldn't actually use the rooftop.Even if you are in the basement, there are complaints that it is noisy, so you have to be quiet, so young children may be bored.

The first floor is pretty. The reception area and breakfast area are all pretty.But as soon as I was assigned a room, I was surprised.1. A flimsy-looking keyI couldn't sleep because the door rattled every time I opened and closed it from the outside.2. There is no lock on the veranda door.It's a distance you can come from next door if you want to. It seemed dangerous enough.3. Not inspecting heating facilities in advanceI checked in and waited for about an hour, but the room didn't get warm, so the staff came and went several times. In the end, I couldn't wait for it to warm up so I went out and asked him to call the repairman. Fortunately, it warmed up in the end, so we were able to sleep warmly, but we were delayed on our trip and the staff had a delay in their work time.4. Mold smellThere is yellow mold on the wall. There is mold in the bathroom sink.That room had an unpleasant smell, whether it was damp or mold.No one could sleep there, so we booked a spacious room for 5 people, but we ended up sleeping in a small room. I didn't even use one big bed or one small bed. The room was cold and smelly.5. The shower water handle is broken.Even after turning it on for a while, no water came out, so I couldn't wash the sweat away, but I found it by chance the next day and was devastated. It looks like it's been out of order for a while?Actually, itβs not worth even a single starI was able to sleep warmly because the boiler was fixed.I'm giving one star because I'm touched by how friendly the Chinese staff was. If it gets better, I think it will be a really pretty guesthouse just like the picture.
