Awful experience. We booked the place for 5 nights but left after 1 night and went to another hotel. The hotel was not as advertised at all. There was no breakfast, it was extremely noisy at night, the room was really tiny and the walls were extremely thin. The common area was dark and scary. What's even worse is that they did not reply when I contacted them about my experience several times. Terrible service. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, especially couples.

This is a hostel that focuses on cost-effectiveness. The facilities are average and the bedding is well maintained.A single room for 2 nights on Friday and Saturday for 1 person was 74,000 won. It is slightly cheaper than a single room in a guesthouse. There is a room in the middle of the hallway, so it has no windows and is narrow like a single room. If you want a single room with a window, the price will be double. It seems to be run by a middle-aged male owner. You are very kind. A simple breakfast is provided in the morning. It's located in the center of Myeong-dong, so it's very accessible, but it's a bit difficult to get there. I think I will use it again next time.

Owner is abrupt and rude as others have said. Cheap and tires to squeeze every penny, cutting corners, even throwing a tantrum about how much water guests use I mean really?Just awful, stay away people, much nice places in Seoul for much better prices!

The operator was friendly and it was nice that it was quiet and clean for a family trip. It was nice because it had everything I needed. Washable. Breakfast included. The bed is a bit high and the room seems a bit small. The location right in front of Myeongdong Cathedral is an advantage. I recommend it to people who mainly just sleep and have a lot to do around Seoul.

I happened to visit Philstay while looking for accommodation. I don't know if it was because I went there without high expectations because it was cheap, but it was really good.It may not have the same soft mattress or spacious bathroom as a hotel, but it was a little disappointing that the bathroom was small, but other than that, it was great for single use. And many were provided for free. From the washing machine to the dryer, and even breakfast...After checking out, I wanted to take a quick look at breakfast and then leave, but I ended up sitting down. Various jams, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, milk and juice. Coffee and soup! Philstay, where you can enjoy everything for free at such a reasonable price!! I will definitely come again next time.

This is the accommodation where I will bury my bones.The owner is really, really, really kind so it’s more comfortable than at home.I was thrilled to have soup for breakfast.The bed was reasonably soft, so even though I have back pain, I had a good night’s sleep without even knowing that my back was hurting. I’m so glad you talked to me as we went back and forth.

I booked a room recently, I didn’t like the price-quality, lack of YouTube, poor breakfast compared to last year and poor sound insulation. The accommodation was very clean and breakfast was provided, which was nice. The owner was also very friendly!!! I am 100% willing to revisit. However, it is unfortunate that it is not soundproofed.
