Honestly, this hotel is probably the best 3* hotel I've ever booked & stayed. I'll recommend it to anyone who's considering to stay at Sokcho. It's better to get the higher floors as the room we had on the 2nd floor didn't have a view. Our family members on the 4th floor had lovely views from their balcony. We stayed there for 5 days 4 nights & enjoyed our stay very much.The pros are aplenty:- Sokcho Express Bus Terminal just across the road- Sokcho Beach just down the road from the hotel- Surrounded by 4-5 convenience stores- Plenty of eateries around the area- Bus stops to the main town centre, popular landmarks, & even Seoraksan Park are just 5 min walk away- Very spacious room with I think king size bed- our room even had a washing machine, microwave & a sink/kitchenette- water pressure in our room on the 2nd floor was good- fresh, clean towels (though small), a large bottle of drinking water & toilet roll were provided daily- Breakfast area view was lovely (didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment about the spread)- it's also walkable all the way to the Abai Village areaThe cons are probably minimal/negligible:- hotel is generally old but still clean & not in a noisy area- no lobby to sit around & wait for others- no daily housekeeping for the rooms (which is fine for us since we didn't really need it)

This hotel is located about 100 meters from the shore of Sokcho Beach. The exterior and interior look a bit old, but there are signs of some upgrades. It is a cost-effective hotel with clear pros and cons.### Advantages ###1. Breakfast... Buffet style with good quality Korean food at a place with a great view on the 9th floor for 13,000 won on weekdays2. Location... close to downtown Sokcho, and there are many things to eat and see nearby.3. Cost-effectiveness... Excellent cost-effectiveness at around 50,000 won including breakfast for two on weekdays4. Bed...king size, clean bedding### disadvantage ###1. Parking lot... Outdoor, about 20 meters away, text message sent2. Old facilities... In the past, they would have been up-to-date, but now they are antique.3. Kiosk check-in and check-out... Sometimes there is no manager at the desk and there is a lack of separate guidance.4. No wardrobe, slippersRecommended if you are traveling to Sokcho and looking for a cost-effective accommodation near the beach with breakfast!!

The condition of the room was good except for a little bit of sand. Nice view from the breakfast restaurantParking is a 1-2 minute walk away, so parking is not that inconvenient.Sokcho Beach is right in front, so it's great for swimming.

Locations was great which just located beside the express bus terminal and 3 mins walk to the SokCho beach.However the picture is way different with the actual status.Balcony, room entrance and area besides bed was terrible because of the old building. Bed, and shower room was still acceptable and other part was clean enough.The outlook of this hotel is also slightly unbelievable since it's hard to recognize of its old and poor maintenance.Checked in available with a machine besides counter and multiple languages supported.Recommend to stay since it's a budget friendly and excellent location.

Large room with sea view! Breakfast at the top of the 9th floor with a great view, but very Korean buffet. By car in 30 minutes to the national park. A few minutes walk to restaurants.

Actually, I made a reservation knowing it had a view of Sokcho Eye.Rooms are allocated in order of check-in.I was assigned a clock tower view!Except for the fact that the sand was dirty even though it was cleaned.Breakfast was also very delicious!!When I ate breakfast, I ate it while looking at the Sokcho Eye view💕
